At first they did bring in hampus to replace Lekr0 as IGL. Later, when ztr joined, they apparently gave ztr IGL duties (atleast in some maps) as he had been IGL in Young Ninjas.

hampus is kinda like arT, he IGLs and goes for crazy plays to make space
2021-04-09 17:38

It makes sence to have 2 players to IGL Ztr doesn't IGL on all maps. It's a bit like the Gla1ve and Magisk relationship on Astralis. They are sort of grooming ztr to take the role

+1 Second one is Nuke or Inferno, I think. To be honest, NiP's calling structure is so loose anyways, that pretty much everyone is IGL. But point is hampus is still IGL, ztr calls on Overpass.

I dont understand why you would have 2 different people calling. If Hampus isnt the IGL then remove him

5 out of 7 maps he igl's, and your telling me that is not most of the maps?
2021-04-16 21:30
At first "ztr" was calling only one map, in the last interview I heard that he was already calling on 3 maps. So if they choose certain maps, so it may looks like hampus is not IGL.
2021-04-09 17:25
He's calling some and not calling others. Weird double IGL scenario rn

NiP's calling structure is loose enough that everyone is basically calling. "IGL by committee" I've heard it called. So changing IGLs between maps isn't that hard. Besides they have THREAT making some calls as well.

Wouldn't work on Lan. Someone like Gla1ve or Karrigan would spank them if they do this in a high pressure scenario.

Yeah that may be true, I'm just saying how it is right now. :) Though, it's what they've always done, even when they were good.

Threat is only calling during tac pause, the reason they got Hampus was to avoid this,

+1 NiP would've been in deep water a long time ago if not for THREAT to keep them afloat time and time again.

At one stage THREAT was primary IGL for NiP back when coaches were full-time in communication with the players.

I doubt anyone would have players as IGL if there is a possibility for the coach to be.

ztr has such crisp aim and skill. always getting the most impressive kills in the game. I wish he would have a star role instead.

damn 17 years old and igl-ing in NiP, fair play

Pretty sure it's still hampus but ZTR calls on certain maps. EDIT: Typographical error.
2021-04-16 20:41
Who cares, they are still UTTER trash with this lineup, nawwk awper with 1.02 rating, Plopski either GOD or BOT. Hampus is often bailing them out with his outstanding performances.

I mean they have an insane skill ceiling but are struggling to find consistency, I rather have them as a stable top10 team than unstable team that can beat anyone and then probably lose to Young Ninjas roster.

They did well in epl with ztr calling, next tournament we will see if they can keep this form. They lost only to gambit and heroic in epl and we all know how fucking far away these 2 teams are atm vs anyone else.

That's true.

Apparently it's both of them. Ztr calls on some maps and hampus on some other maps.
