so, at around September they revealed Impression as IGL for their new 'Superteam' and slowly made up a roster which now exists of: XigN ErkaSt Impression cbbk xccurate it looks somewhat decent for asia but like, is it just me or where are they? are they still slowly getting better or is hltv just not busy with asia tournaments

no asian team will do anything unless they bootcamp in EU

They can't even bootcamp in EU anyway considering organizations in Asia aren't that big to the point where they won't get invited by tournament organizers like BLAST, Flashpoint, etc. Unless BLAST or Flashpoint has Asian qualifiers for their tourneys, I don't see a shit ton of Asian teams going into EU or NA unless they're going to spend a shit ton of money on housing costs, airplane tickets, necessities, etc. Invictus is a semi big org but their team is not that good from what I've seen.

yep and that's why we'll never ever see the asia scene account for anything the last time they even accounted for anything was when Bntet was on Tyloo

1 - the scene in asia is practically inactive 2 - hltv does not cover low tiers events

Asian CS has been having matches shown every night for the past 12 days, HLTV just doesn't cover it. twitch.tv/funspark_csgo NG sadly didn't fair to well in it although they were looking good early on. Both open qualifiers had 34 and 36 teams respectively but of those how many actually practice... probably not to many imo. liquipedia.net/counterstrike/Funspark/UL..

ah kinda sad seeing them get 5th-8th cause this should be on paper a pretty good team which could be able to beat teams like tyloo yet they get yeeted out by d13

I watched a lot of them during this event. Their aim is off the charts still.. im not sure what their coach, MYM, is doing but they need to become more structured to some degree. They were blowing so many rounds because of their undisciplined play style which probably comes from not practicing against top notch teams.

Most of the scene does. I'm not saying the talent isn't good but structure doesn't seem to be something that has been fully developed yet from that area. I don't think xigN has been nearly the player he was under the guidance of players like solo, glow, and termi.

They were also doing some horrible mistakes to be fair. Erkast in particular ticked me off in Nuke vs d13. I remember one situation in particular where Erkast was in a 1v1 postplant situation. He ran through Hazmat Squeeky to take the DM duel and just died. It looked like really low level CS. Perhaps he was filled with confidence but it's just mistakes like that which are unacceptable to me considering he's a very experienced player in the OCE scene. Can't be making mistakes like that at higher levels of CS. However I will say this, I think that NG will play better in the EU meta rather than the Asia scene. Asia scene is full of noobs, I saw a lot of holding close angles and just rapid firing the deagle praying for the 2 body hit kill from teams.

I think once Covid stops and traveling + obtaining visas become easier they could. It's really dependent on NG as an org to let them practice there or not. I believe that Xign and Erkast would start to flourish there after a few months of practice.

2021-04-13 03:32
why they keep cbbk?
2021-04-13 03:40
It might be the Extremum in Europe case, where nobody from success in said scene is equipped for a bigger league

I was literally just thinking this today. I had to stop for like several minutes just to remember what the name of the team was so I could look it up and see what they've been doing. They've pretty much only been in t3 asian games and not even winning most of the ones they should be
