There isn't much to it really. It simply boils down to preferring to playing with friends rather than playing alone. I like and play PUBG but I never play alone. Playing multiplayer games alone is boring. I enjoy single-player games though. Games where you get invested in the story such as the Arkham games, Jedi Fallen Order, etc.

As for me, I enjoy shooters the most, br games are imo not that fun. I'd love a great single player game such as cod campaigns, always play those.

Good for you, wish I could be hyped, enjoyed playing warzone for a while. Then cw got integrated and I lost all interest due to the new guns being op and creating a new 1-shot meta where you die in 0.5 secs or less. No time to react if your opponent is good.

There aren't that many competitive single player games, single player games are more fun if your friends aren't on tho, I don't usaually play multiplayers games by myself.

Pretty obvious since it is a cs:go forum that I am talking about shooters, and not boring card games. Can you list some because I would like to know about them.

I have never heard of hunt showdown or unreal tournament before so I will check them out. No thanks to battle royal, and fighting games aren't shooters, + they are really easy, and get boring quickly.

Literally all you have to do is memorize the combos and google character stategies. There are barely any skill you need to learn to be good at them. Once you get good at one or two, you are good at all of them. Pre-covid I practiced one of them for a week and a half, then beat a bunch of people in a tournament that I watched player for hours every single week for over a year. Admittedly, only two of the players were halfway decent, but they are still really easy to get good at.

nope, I went to a smash weekly with my friends irl for like a year, and someone told me to enter the sf tournament that is at the same time and same venue, so I practiced with my friend and won because all fighting games are the same, smash isn't really a fighting game, but its the same rps concept.

because I have all kinds of issues at actually connecting with humans, and multiplayer games are a challenge for me in that way. then I feel bad if my teammates don't have the info so I force myself to give calls & comms

I enjoy team based games for the teamplay, even without friends I enjoy the team effort needed to win. Besides I can't find that many "good" single player games as I tend to get bored fast when I play anything but fps (sadly).
2021-04-13 22:46
i like the tactical aspect of them
2021-04-13 22:47
i used to play team based games, because of it's competitive nature, but with growing older and having more and more responsibilites with every year i don't have the nerves for that anymore. i just want to lie down and have a beer and play some single player games. (mid 20s)
