Most of them came back in ESEA MDL league and failed massively. Only Steel kept at a top level/

swag started off really strong, but it seemed like he lost interest(subbed for c9 and smashed, then played amazing in mdl for the first season back). As you can guess by my flair, I only really would case is steel came back though. He could save NA.

I know but valorant is still new game if it follows overwatch it will be dead in 2 years and NA needs saving. Unabnning people like steel who has proved he was still good with chaos (which helped NA scene a lot imo) would be huge + not so long ago.

Currently he cant even coach... And i think you would agree anything to help out NA scene would be welcome at this point.

Oh so the ban affects even coaching.. that sucks. Yea, it would be great for na scene to have him. He has short temper but knows his stuff. Even His CS:s tutorials are still great to watch

vsm was 13, and jamppi didnt even cheat, just beacuse your scene is dead, doesn't mean you have to shit on other scenes.

And...? He is still a cheater. And also it is specifically against STEAM rules to give out your steam account, so he broke the rules and deserves to pay. IBP never cheated, because they have enough dignity to not be hackers.

they commited an actual crime, matchfixing, yet they aren't in prison, what's worse, being a 13 year old spinning in matchmaking or a bunch of adults commiting a crime for personal gain?

"match-fixing is the manipulation of a sports match or racing event with intent to influence a betting outcome" Sports defined as "an activity involving physical exertion and skill in which an individual or team competes against another or others for entertainment." Not a sport, and therefor not a crime. They made a mistake by match fixing and got punished, it has gone long enough. Cheating is a purely evil act of destroying someones happiness because you find it fun.

cheating when you are 13 isn't much evil, its just kids being stupid, if you think it's worse for a 13 to cheat in matchmaking then to matchfix for your own scummy money, its nothing short of disgusting, and claiming that esports aren't incerted in a category of sports its flat out retarded, i can already see you are a kid defending your region to a full just because it is dead in it's grave. guess what, crying in hltv about it wont make valve change it's opinion

I hope they never get unbanned. VSM and Jampii VAC Bans tho, it makes perfect sense for them to be removed. They weren't playing at pro level when they bans were given, Jampii VAC wasn't even because of him. But look at IBP. Already signed to a big org, playing at top level, and they were for sure aware of the consequences of doing so, but yet went ahead and did it anyway. Did they ever thought that CS would become this massive esport with huge prize pools and salaries? No, but this doesn't change the fact that these guys were already playing at a professional level, and match fixing is still a criminal offence, unlike cheating.

You see small difference between matchfixing and vac ban?
2021-04-15 20:08
Why are people bashing IBP but saying KQLY is fine when KQLY cheated in tournament games. Also it doesn't matter if IBP is unbanned because they will continue playing valorant.
