Gen.G gm Stanz said he heard rumors that Hiko's is as high as $30k a month, but he did confirm stuff like 20-25k a month is very common for top teams.

insane this game came out less than a year and getting a pretty good amount of cash for such an early age of the game

Esports are a fantastic way of advertising a game, that's why devs will hemorrhage money on sponsored pro leagues to grow the scene.

there is a interview or twitter post with redeye where he rants about unknown valorant players from other games making 15-20k in a game that hasn't had a single tournament yet and it would make sense. if u look all this OWL pros had 250-300k yearly contract, i doubt they would swap for anything less.

I think those cs player who moved to valorant were offered a big buck, either way none of them would even think about the move at all The only thing I heard valorant is that Hiko makes about 30k a month, so it seems logical

yes, cant be higher, unfortunately EG was not the most successful team, so they less likely would've been the highest paid ones

Imagine paying 30k to t2 NA cs players kekw, orgs and devs scammed

nah mate I cant agree with you, Hiko is a real legend of NA CS, he has a great reputation, huge fan base. he is popular He was one of the first who switched to valorant, he kinda started the wave I wouldnt be suprised if orgs who pay this much are materially supported by riot games themselves

Very high salaries + rising fast because Valorant esport is rising. Esport = betting = money = sponsors = salaries I remember first years of CS:GO where pro salaries was like 2,5-4k EUR for tier 1 players (Virtus Pro in 2013-2015 paid 2,5k EUR for old polish VP, I think Neo or Pasza said it in interview back then. And they were strong top5/10 team and major winners). Now how much it is ? Like 10-35k depending on player and org. That's because of betting companies, betting evolved so much today. Back then you could only bet on international sites and csgolounge, now I have like 10-20 books just in Poland where I can bet my money on CS:GO

Nothing near to what people are stipulating. That game doesn't bring in that kind of money. Plus from a quick search about valorant tournaments prizes are around ~100k..
