any argument against var is just pure stupidity. You can argue var referees made a wrong decision or fucked up, but var is good for football overall lol

var is good for competitive fairness, but terrible for the entertainment of the sport

2021-04-16 22:38
Yeah but people were complaining that decisions werent fair, when VAR didnt exist. People now argue that its not entertaining. Peeople are always gonna complain

People will complain anyways, yes. Now the conversation has just shifted to "was the situation so clear that Var should overwrite the ref's decision" But now we have 2 minutes breaks inbetween which sucks ass.

Imagine watching football where you have 2 huge goals and 10 players on each side to make a goal and yet you dont see any goals. Maybe switch to basketball, they have tiny ass rings and the ball goes there tens of time in a game.

That just makes a goal have meaning. In basketball, you score 70 points each game per team, which makes the hits be less meaningful

VAR OUT!
2021-04-16 22:40
Only idiots can say VAR is bad. With VAR you can cleary see what happend and proceed according to the rules. Who cares about 30s break when without VAR the match could be won unfairly.

About what?
2021-04-17 12:56
If you need to zoom in and take 15 min, the goal should be allowed nonetheless. VAR should only be used for clear fouls, not microscopic offsides
2021-04-16 22:50
then make better rules so VAR can do its job quicker

#5 is right It killed pretty much all excitement in football. Football was better without it, more fun
2021-04-16 22:58
It brings fairness and cancels a lot of refereeing corruption
2021-04-16 23:03
Football is just a whacky sport tbh Lots of whacky rules that aren't clear, lots of reasons for players to try to cheat by diving or wasting time pretending to be hurt when they aren't etc. Ye gotta live with it, and VAR is definitely good just for some form of competitive integrity. If it's too bothersome there are plenty of other sports where that's not like that.
