honestly dunno how a better game, mechanics wise, can be made
but other similar games with different maps could be a breath of fresh air
Cs 1.6 mechanics and sounds with csgoish graphics
add it so you can buy attachments more strategy
mecanics-wise i don't know what coud be done, CS:GO is like the quality standard, if you want a game that works you have to follow what's already been done and success would depend on what you add to it
Source engine is what makes CS GO what it is. It's perfect for competitive FPS's.
better anti cheat, 128tick servers etc
I think the game that would take CSGO's audience would be another counter strike
valorant is out there already and it's a pretty solid game
Riot has a recipe to success, it basically involved copying anything Valve does and making it casual-friendly
and that's how we got valorant and LOL
basically make a game like cs 1.6 with updated graphics...and i wont add a pug system or mm system but i will make it have a legit scrim system.like something compared to the IRC days where u made teams to play against other teams.i would also add a client.anyone caught trolling.hacking or being distruptive would get banned forever, the way i see it,it makes meeting people better and more competitive.nobody to ruin your experience .casuals will play in public servers.
Valorant better than cs in every way already
1.6 mechanics with csgo spray and economy, bf5 graphics
Valorant already did it
Now the question is how to beat valorant
add lean to csgo, that you can lean sideways while moving, not just limited to standing still
Valorant has done it imo, the abilities instead of utilities is quite fun.
The game is really enjoyable if you can remove the csgo gatekeeper mindset from yourself and play the game for atleast a month. There are new patches coming regularly, riot updates the agents very often so the metas keep changing which in my opinion is very interesting to play.
As much as I love CS, I gotta say valorant is enjoyable
