"Svetlana Petrovna, a pensioner from the Russian city of Odintsovo, located in the Moscow region, filed a complaint with the police against the administrator of the CS:GO server. The reason for the appeal was the failure in the shooter of her 12-year-old grandson Sergei. This was reported by "Komsomolskaya Pravda". According to a law enforcement source, Sergei complained to his grandmother that he is often killed in CS:GO. After that, the 70-year-old pensioner wrote a statement in which she asked the police "to conduct an investigation into the abuse of official powers of the server administrator," where her grandson was playing. According to Svetlana Petrovna, “rivals always get better weapons” than Sergei. Law enforcement agencies accepted the pensioner's statement. In the near future, Sergei's family should be visited by employees of the juvenile department." cybersport.ru/counter-strike-go/news/bab.. LMAAAOOOO

According to Russian 70 yo pensioner, "rivals always get better weapons", lol.

i think the point is that they let a 12 year old play a shooter... i don't know how it's in russia, but here you have to be 16 to be officially allowed to play. (therefore the juvenile department thing)

No one follows these rules. If you watch pro players profiles, you'll hear that they started to play CS when they were 10-12 y.o. Atleast most of them.

yes but i think they care if someone informs the local authorities about it. (ofc nobody usually does that - but they did)

local authorities have to react if they find out. it's like if you let your 12 year old kid drink alcohol and youth welfare office finds out. but on the other hand many things are different in russia.

No, honestly it's not cool. What will this guy become in future? Crybaby, who'll only cry and complain and will not try to improve himself? I could understand if he complained to grandma about cheaters or toxicity, but he complained because he lost and because he played bad in CS, lol. Yeah, it's cool that grandma cares about him, but not that much.

Yh, and the grandma is 70yo, she most probably doesn't know about cs or video games in general, so she thought maybe someone was bullying her grandchild
2021-04-17 15:39
I didn't say that it'll his fault. It will be granma's fault. Because of her education. She should tell him that sometimes things are turning out that we doesn't expect or like it. Or sometimes he need to put more time and passion in something to become better at it.

Grand parents are supposed to be sweet and caring, not strict teacher who teach children harsh realities of life

I mean it's quite often thing in Russia that kid is living with granma because parents are divorced/died/don't care about children/lost their parents rights on him. For example, flamie lived with his grandma and grandpa when he was kid. And he was grown by them.
