he literally lost his last chance to play in tier1 cs, no one will want to sign him when he can't frag and he isn't a proven IGL like karrigan if he accepted FPX's offer maybe he could have had a few more years of career and earned more $$$ than he will earn in mouz's bench

no styko said chris and fpx disagreed on the wage on hltv confirmed
2021-04-19 18:16
yeah imo this is not very smart of chris. I reckon the only reason for him to reject the fpx offer is an enormous gap in wages expectation/offer, and maybe the length of his current contract at mouz. If thats the case, and he will finish the contract at mouz, he will be out of competitive gameplay for way too long at his age. Who knows, maybe he is pretty much done with csgo, and just wants as much money he can get rn. i sure hope im wrong tho.

+1 Yeah, unless he wants to retire or has another better offer (unlikely), some money is better than no money.

Some money? I thought cs pro players earn so much money, that they won’t to ever work. Because how many they earn? 20k per month. That’s 240k per year, and they have those high salaries for at least 2 years, so I thought he won’t ever work. So that means so he has a lot of money. So does he want only few more 20 thousands, or this what I thought isn’t true.

You forget he is a dutchman and if he wants a decent house, al of the money you are talking about will be gone.

In Czech Republic? No, seriously, for 240k $ you can buy really big house here in Czech Republic. But then you have no more money so you need to work. But I doubt he has no money from his career before, only they weren’t making so big money like now. But still, maybe something like 5k $. A he was pro for 8 or 9 years, so even if in those years he averaged at least 5k $ a month, then he still should have some 240k (I considered that he already spend some of the money, without spending, he would have from those seven years 480k) on his bank account. But if you want to say, that as a csgo pro player you still don’t have enough money, and you will need to work, then I don’t want to be cs pro anymore, it’s not worth it, when I will need to study after I retire...
