"Indeed. I also got banned in TAT, i might still remember the admin name (Shane perhaps) he strongly though i was cheating."
Shane was a cheater and a famous one at that. The guy was a great liar and always came across as friendly but what annoyed me about Shane was that he was really good at the game, he didn't need cheats but still bought them regardless to make a quick buck at little league events that didn't check your PC. Off on a tangent here, but he also banned my Brother for suspected cheats and of course I went absolutely ballistic and he was unbanned immediately afterwards because of the hypocrisy.
Skunk13 (TAT founder) liked Shane, appointed him admin and whilst we knew he was cheating, there was nothing we could do to prove it because like I said earlier, he was really good at the game and so he was admin for way too long. The only reason he was banned and had his admin removed was because he had a falling out with Skunk13 and that is an insta-ban (my Brother was banned for the same thing and there was no saving him this time).
"I know only 1 Trix and he was in the military for a lot of years played mixes with us. Great guy and player."
Could be the same guy? Trix came across as very unlikeable but was great to play with, especially back in the days of EnemyDown and SGL. :D
"In Tnb if you wallbanged someone or bunnyhoped was insta ban hahahahhaha.
Correct. SHITE and TOS also had this ruling and it was actually quite fun provided you didn't mind not wall-banging, it forced others into playing a different style and the ruling was in effect due to quality-control, because otherwise it would be deemed unfair with that amount of people being on a server and every single one of them was wall-banging. It was an absolute pain to moderate but obviously there were exceptions; you could wall-bang doors, boxes and anything wooden, just not floors/walls.
If I remember correctly, no AWP'ing was allowed either otherwise everybody would be buying AWP and again, with that amount of people on the server it would've been mayhem. The scout is better anyway. ;)
