Quantum mechanics

Quantum mechanics kinda looks like a simulation to me. The universe has a finite resolution, and if we try to observe things at the quantum level, it gets weird and grainy. And the whole probability wave thing sounds bit like a random generator. Then there's the vacuum and its fluctuations... And of course the whole idea comes from my mundane experiences, it's very possible that everything is random by nature, without a need for a computer to be generating it... But still. TL;DR: we live in a simulated universe, clearly?!?!

why you don't like a non deterministic world? what's the problem?

Who said they don't like a non-deterministic world? And who knows if the universe is non-deterministic, even if it isn't a computer simulation? It may seem non-deterministic but it's pretty much impossible to tell

But what powers the computer that simulates our world?? Bro this is too deep for me. This is like high level depression thoughts ngl. I would much rather be oblivious to the truth if it's this deep/scary.

If the universe runs on some advanced alien 3rd grader's computer in a non-simulated universe, then whatever power grid they use.

What if their world is also simulated?? What is time??????? Why does it flow????? You're making me have an existential crisis here.

Maybe there's a world that isn't a simulation. Or it's just simulations infinitely. Time is progression at the speed of light that is slowed down by mass. Why, who knows?

Like, a universe is seeded at its beginning?

ye, so deterministic view states that its not truly random (( Its like snooker balls rolling around but somebody made the initial push when to external view it might seem "random" there is much benefit in thinking everything is deterministic. you can blame fate for everything (missed shots in cs) its the universe, not you.
