Train is still too CT-sided map. Once you get those double AWP on CT side noway for Ts to get those rounds quickly. the only thing which helps T is the CT economy. Also the map control for T is too less. Also its needs good comms, because like Nuke you can easily lose track of players, this is actually good because it favour more Ts if CT lacks communication.

Some ideas: Make ivy a little wider make the A to B rotate a bit slower on CT Create some type of boost for the T's with 2 people Remove A heaven

The thing I hate about Train is that basically the entire map is just straight lines/corridors. It is indeed perfectly set up for awpers.

Don't forget if smoke is between trains then they can move ontop, to many angles for Ts to clear.

bro its not about me being DMG or silver, I rarely play train, but I have seen enough pro matches on the train and its clear from them that it has less map control for Ts and very tough to get early control even after spending so much utilities.

Cool, but even though the stats support a "better" T half, I've seen so many 11-4 leads lost because of halftime. When the losing Ts get to ct with a 10-5/9-6 loss it's much easier for them to win, not just because of the obv round diff but rather because of CT win rate.

I'm surprised more teams don't have more ivy protocols - with 3 well placed smokes (once you have control of the position) you can turn the majority of fights into close range battles and nullify the AWPs as much as possible - to at least put the odds in your favour At that point it's about knowing your opponents setup tendencies and the adjustment tendencies they are likely to do - I actually think ivy control for Ts can be the backbone for a good half

i dont feel like this is an issue, you need smokes and a guy double flashing while the others go Also late push in ivy while your mates push with flashes on A But it's a very tough map if you go solo q with wankers not communicating.

Teams need to be less shit on the T side. There is no creativity, they throw away rounds by dropping in popdog feeding away frags. They take really stupid duels. It's rare that you see teams play the t side well, but it is definitely possible. There is a lot you can do with lurking and B executes can be very successful if you use your utility well.

B is probably one of the easiest sites to take in pro CS if you do an execute, so I don't know why more teams don't keep hitting it.

Because teams keep taking passive fights post-plant. If you can get aggressive after getting onto site to deny the rotations, the CTs will have hard time retaking the site. Of course, it does come down to h2h aim duels.

but usually CT's are quick on the back site with awp's so you can't just to run towards them and you have to be awared that CT's can come very quick from pop or A main and you are between enemies. And if you make it to the back site but u lost B halls, bomb is not planted for you. of course every site is hard to retake if you take all the space away from CT's, but Train is extra hard for T's because u cant take so much space, or bomb is not planted for you, or you cant make good crossfires and CT's can easily smoke/molly you off if you play bomb from B halls etc.

Which is why teams should (and they do) smoke off connector and the "lanes" during their executes. The team that usually wins is the one that can take the first fight after the smoke fades, usually near connector.

uhh... isn't fun to play on the balanced map? because it's not really fun if you are always getting stomped and never have that space on the T side. Dust2 is that's why so successful in fact all balanced maps are but that's a different thing.

I think it's a matter of taste now... but among the general mass it's what preferred, and comebacks are fine but it's more fun to watch a back and forth round than to watch each team dominating respective halves on some preferred side.

Train doesn't have balance issues. Don't give CTs the chance to get double awp and you win. Also in pro-matches, If you pick train, you start on T side 100% of the time. That's a big enough disadvantage.
