dev0ce hypocrite
2021-04-27 12:50
Yes - look at how simple, rain etc. performed in faze. A good player in 1 team is a bad player in another. the strat and IGL is the most important.

In the sense that it seemed out of nowhere, yes. In the sense that is was behind Astralis' back, no. I doubt he had hidden anything from Astralis, and as unfortunate as it is to lose him, if he wants to play in NiP, nobody gains anything out of keeping him imprisoned as a punishment for wanting something else :D I think kjaerbye did them wrong in a completely different manner by signing North behind their backs

Yeah, atleast this is a great opportunity to see if Astralis' winning formula always was the players or if the structure is the pillar of victory. I think it is the players to be honest, but lets see if they can restructure the team and still be top-of-the-line with a new approach. I imagine -xyp, + someone and then build the new core around dup-glaive-magisk, with magisk likely taking over IGL reigns as glaive goes on paternity leave
2021-04-27 13:03
well device atleast told the team that he wants to leave and kjaerbye just left and only told them 1 day before

Exactly, this is why i think it is absolutely nothing like kjaerbye's snake move. But hands down, i think more information will unveil soon. Thorin posted some interesting counters to device's reasons for switching (although, device doesn't have to prove anything - if he wants to play in NiP, it is 100% his choice regardless if the public likes it or not :D) - He wanted less travel time (but when LAN returns, does this not annul itself anyway?)

well it all depends when lans come back i would say major will be one of the first lan events
2021-04-28 09:12
Not at all. Kjaerbye left for individual career reasons. Dev1ce left for personal reasons.

2021-04-27 12:53
No because he notified the team about his willingess to leave and, didnt just leave and say nothing and device joined to a team that can actually win something
2021-04-27 12:53
The diffeence is betavice has now guts to trashtalk Astralis

I mean yeah it would be pretty dumb to trashtalk the org you are currently working for That's like saying your boss is a piece of shit to his/her face
2021-04-27 13:20
Hahaha! No he didnt do a kjearbye. Device has had a long carrier with the astralis members and has experienced pretty much everything with them (winning trophies, mvps, majors, grinding the astralis way as pro athletes). Kjearbye hasnt had a long carrier with a team like device and achieved everything as a pro in the way device has. Kjearbye was gonna most likely get benched from astralis at some point but he left early without talking with the players, which is why it shocked them. In devices case here he wants something new and different and achieve the same goals in a different way and other goals such as #1 player in the world.
2021-04-27 13:10
nah
2021-04-27 13:14
