Astralis

Dev1ce pulled off a Kjaerbye. Astralis will find their spark again and go win the next Major, Bubzkji to be MVP. The Astralis guys are the definition of a LAN team, they need pressure, they need motivation. Something like a dev1ce leaving might help them to overcome the online era and then being a stable Top2 in LANs again. Gogo!

That's with dev1ce, stop going off the rankings please... The hltv ranking is nearly useless in terms of current form. It's based on 6+ months.

not really theya destroyed forze and vp ibelieve bot teams with crazy aim

As an European it was always hard for me to understand American culture. What was fascinating for me is that they like bragging about their freedom which was weird for me, because I didn't think that I have any less freedom than them. I always thought 'What is the difference'. However after this game I finally understand it. NA is just so free. KEKW

japan thinking extra salt is bad - lmao. astralis losing everything lately - if they can beat extra salt that is a good thing.

1/2 bo1 wtf mens

The thing is, Kjaerbye was a replaceable player. Device isn't unless Astralis want to change their playstyle COMPLETELY. While players like Magisk will definitely be better on Lan, them being a "team of the era" is highly unlikely. I'd gladly be proven wrong tho.

Kjaerbye wasn't being seen as replacable back then. He was argubly their best player/player with most potential back then. Astralis needed something to reinvent themselfes which maybe weighs more than a stable player of dev1ce.

"He was argubly their best player/player with most potential back then." Why do retards alway lie about this haha. he was worse than both dupreeh and device.

Nope, you clearly weren't watching Pro CS in 2017 LULW

Yes I was lol. Device was by far their best and most consistent player, 2nd was dupreeh and then came kjaerbye.
2021-04-29 15:20
It's true though. Kjaerbye was a worse entry than dupreeh and that's why he switched to North - his star position was about to get handed to dupreeh, who had much better results on entry

worse than device lmao

"He was argubly their best player/player with most potential back then." I'd disagree with that. He was just the player hitting his individual peak but if you tried to look into raw skill, Device was easily better. I'd even say Dupreeh was comparable to him, if not better due to not being in his role of choice. Also, by "easily replaceable" I mean that Astralis could get Valde, K0nfig or Magisk as a replacement for Kjaer. All of them were iffy choices, but atleast they had choices. I don't think there's a replacement for Device rn. They literally cannot replace him with someone and expect the same results. Unless they want to completely change their playstyle atleast.

TBH in terms of raw skill, Kjaerbye at the time showed more than Device. Device is not known as someone with super talented in mechanical skills but he's a very very very smart player with his positioning, crosshair placement,etc... Thats why hes consistent, because his playstyle is less dependent on aim. So if anything, the real comparison here is Kjaerbye vs Dupreeh and if you watch Eleague 2017, you cant deny that Kjaerbye was crucial to Astralis's major win
2021-04-29 15:41
Kjaerbye was by far the best player back then together with device, that's why it totally shocked everyone.

No he wasn't. He wasn't even their second best player.

Pretty cool that you got every point wrong - they will not come back and they are no more LAN players than anyone else...

man after the news that device made mfers shed tears in the roster, so happy to see them all just smiling and laughing after that win, even if its only against extra salt. bubzkji looks great, remains to be seen if magisk and xyp can retain form, dupreeh doesnt look comfortable at all on primary awp though
