Ancient, it doesn't matter

It doesn't matter what the map looks like, if it's good or not, as long as valve keeps updating the map pool, and making updates to make new maps more playable, this is what will keep csgo alive. People will now create some new content, we'll be excited to see pro playing in this maps and bringing new tactics and by the end of the day we might love it or hate it, but we'll talk about it.

mirage is the most picked map in faceit, is the map that allows people with potato pc to play the game. tbh mirage will never leave the map pool. it might get some changes like in the bomb sites, but i don't think it's going anywhere.

I get it, retards can only play mirage because their IQ is too low to learn smokes for another map, but that doesn't mean it's a good map and should stay in the pool. Just because McDonald's is popular doesn't mean it's better than your local restaurant.

But what's a point of removing one of the most popular maps? mirage will stay until people stop playing it

train was least picked map for pro level too, but apparently maybe pro level are also too low IQ?

You don't get my point, map pool shouldn't be a popularity contest.

removing the most played maps is a sure fire way to cause casual players to not want to play the game, the opposite of what valve want

yeah but removing the least played map solves nothing, because the player base just won't play the new map

Rip train is all. They could've replaced Mirage

I think when valve took out cbble, they just wanted to fuck up with BR pro's , because the number of times that brazilians won there, I didin't breath of air.

+1, just get the life cycle going, it can only get better. it's still sad to see mirage or d2 in the mappool without any changes. these maps get so boring to play and watch its painful. d2: a d2 remake in the style of either anubis (bright sunny orange) , season/overpass (futuristic) or ancient/tuscan (dark map but with good visuals) would be great to see with some changes. like going back to 1.6 suicide etc and maybe new features.. you could work around the tunnel system for example. mirage: cool map in general but outplayed and getting boring. overall could remain the same but the style of anubis could also fit in well here. changes are needed towards mid/under/short system. we need something new. a is cool the way it is but i wouldn't mind giving the cts more or better spots on site when giving the Ts better entrances (for example palace entrance not watchable from stairs / con) there's so much potential! and btw it was stupid to remove season, it was kinda like a futuristic mirage. i loved the times when the mappool consited out of season, old nuke, old ovp, old inferno, old cache, cobble, old train.. good times
