so much time wasted that you forget about what's happening in real life. Only ends up in regret...

Why wouldnt you if u enjoy it? Doing something in vision of big money is bad attitude btw
2021-05-06 17:35

enjoying something isn't enough to justify doing it imo. I played too much that I neglected school and my once really good grades began to drop. For school the really depressing reality is that if you don't do well in the beginning the good end will take decades more to achieve

Why would you care about your grades at school if you're doing what you love? Unpopular opinion: school is for people who can't think for themselves. It's the safe route. You don't get extraodinary results without taking some risks.

Neglecting studies for " something you love " is gonna have you a jobless loser. It's gaming in this instance, so there's plenty of time to play video games after school.

+1 couldn't have said it better myself
2021-05-06 23:42
again there is more to life than what you love, you can't do what you love in such a demanding society forever. Ofc the safe option is the best option when you're considering years of your life and your future. Fully playing a video game for years isn't some high risk high reward gamble, it is a braindead decision that will fuck you over even if you succeed

lmfao love people like you.. are you at harvard instead of your highschool or something? How cant u do ATLEAST average in school while tryharding cs? Its even possible to grind real hard during uni even tho its hard. Why are u so boring? You regret spending a lot of time playing cs... I did too but I wont ever regret it, cuz why would I? At the time I enjoyed it, I like it and I still do. If you could go back in time would you rather not ever install cs and grind MATHS or somthing?

since u have -ZWER in ur name im guessing ur from russia, just know that most of the world's schools are not as easy as yours I was still above average but not above enough. I would have definitely grinded maths instead of cs given the chance

Nah Iam not from Russia, central europe. Iam just JAME's fan. Yeah then you would.. u are the rare one. But most of the people if u would teleport them back in time back to elementary would not do that thing. And would just enjoy everything rather than grinding math. But its everyones free will, why would anyone grind school if it doesnt make him happy?

no matter what you do in life you won't be happy, just about delaying the inevitable unhappiness. In the long run cs won't make you happy

yeah I mean maybe I haven't but in the end u are mortal and the day will come for you just like for me and everyone else and doesnt it sucks that u live sad and depressed everyday just waiting for eternal void? There wont be any positives in there nor the negatives.. But you can always look for positives while you are alive once its all over you wont be ever able to
2021-05-07 00:41

Forcing yourself to find positives is worse than looking for negatives imo. In a desperate attempt to escape from apathy and adversity you try to find good things in life. You're either forcing yourself to settle for shit or you're realizing that there isn't enough happiness in life to sate your delusions

What do you mean forcing yourself? You don't force yourself to find positives in your life, you make it happen somehow , you look for it in something

"you make it happen somehow" that is forcing it??? If it wasn't forced it would happen naturally without you needing to make it happen

I dont think so because if you like something, why wouldnt you try to have a diploma that proves to everyone that you are competent ? It gets you a better job + teachers generally know what they are teaching so you will probably progress better with them

Either you grind Pugs and make it into FPL/FPL-C and then join a team or you grind your countries team leagues and start with a shitty team and grind your way up to make yourself known.

Love the confidence, the first thing you need is patience, and also grind a lot esea leagues, changing ships until you find your way to advanced would make tier 2-3 teams start noticing you Also getting to fpl would really help

2021-05-06 16:11
You need to be more active to be able to create new forum topics
2021-05-06 16:12
Improve your individual skills Be a good teammate Try to get into FPL Find a promising lineup to compete on ESEA Buy PC and computer peripherals that allows high level performance Don't use skinchanger lol
2021-05-06 16:13
It's not worth it. You won't become pro and you will throw ~6000 hours down the drain doing something that accomplishes nothing. Put that time into schoolwork, learn a trade, learn to code. Do something, do anything, but don't do this, you will not go pro.
2021-05-06 16:31
Step 1: Move to EU NA CS omegalul
2021-05-06 17:37
Remember if you go pro then it's like your job, you have to play that only game over and over again, spend so many hours and in long run I think it will feel bad for your mental health, like with happened with Astralis gla1ve and also other players
2021-05-06 23:20
get into fpl and start shitting on pros i think

dont try hard one face it- rule number one, no real pros care about it. im pretty sure, i think pros think about it like overfocused noobs and you might be just another
2021-05-06 23:28
Really the only way is grinding faceit to make FPL and join a team there, or join a team to grind esea leagues with.

2021-05-07 00:41
What’re your hours faceit rank esea rank and age?
2021-05-07 00:42
If you can't make it to FPL in the first 2 years of playing then chances are you won't become pro. This goes for most sports/esports. If it takes you more than 2-3 years to get really good, chances are you're wasting time. Almost every pro has made it to pro league after picking up the game for a year or so.
