so if even the psychologist tells you to go to the gym why don't you spare the cost and time talking about it with a "professional" and start doing it? Especially when you already know what has to be done lol
what is the point of this thread
Just tell them to watch self motivation videos, it's the same shit
Its really tough, ive been going to a psy for some time and lemme tell you, its good and useful but only as long as you put in the work, if you continue doing the same shit you have been doing before therapy then you just wasted money, also yes exercise is very important to lead a happy and fulfilled life
Been doing it, lost stimulation due to frequent failures, might get back to doing it again.
Therapy + Gym = unstoppable combo (costs $68 a week)
therapy is fucking expensive idk how they expect deppressed people with no job or a minimum wage job to afford it
Stop beating off
Stop drinking Caffeine
Turn off TV/News/Media
Confront your fears.
What if you are physically disabled?
and what if you are still depressed
Hitting the gym or doing a specifically outdoors hobby should be enough with people going trough sad phases (couple broke with you, loose a job, failed some exams, etc) with depression as a pathology means also that the liquid that surrounds your brain is chemically unbalanced, making oneself be always in a "recursive endless loop" of misery from which you cannot just recover "being happy" but rather following a carefully planned treatment.
TL;DR: There is a neuro-chemical aspect of depression (pathology) that cannot be reverted but just "hitting the gym" or something alike.
I do trust random HLTV user rather than a professional who has a good education.
Dude, what works for you may not work on anybody else.
Some people just need to talk and be heard, while some other really don't know how to escape their constant mental pain.
People are different. If you're really deep in it - you will feel bad no matter what you do.
So the answer to how to feel better is... VODKA! Become an alcoholic and you will forget about everything.
if youre depressed, do NOT go to the gym. gyms are full of 80iq idiots who think theyre chads trying to make every other guy feel bad about their body and trying to hit on girls. its really annoying and doesnt help you feel better about yourself.
just buy a pull up bar on amazon, bolt it into your wall, and use it every day. do some pushups and some situps. make sure you use proper technique and keep your back straight. also make sure you get all your vitamins, fiber, protein, etc. i can recommend bulkpowders.com, they have good discounts, you can get a couple kg of protein for a good price.
also make sure you get enough sunlight, at least 2 hours a day.
you should start seeing significant results in physique and mental health in about a month.
you feel much better if you give it your all in gym
Yes, a healthy body keeps a healthy mind.
gym will not fix chemical imbalance in your brain unfortunately
stopped reading at "mr based and redpilled", you brick-brain populist whore.
