sensitivity changing
Norway Aksel_CSGO
I can't be the only one so I will ask here, does anyone else change their sens each birthday ? Let me explain I started playing cs go when I was 22 and when I started playing cs I played with 2.2 & 400 dpi. Then I turned 23 and changed my sens to 2.3 & 400 dpi, then turned 24 and changed to 2.4 & 400 dpi and so on. Now I'm 26 and using 2.6 & 400 dpi, in few days I will be 27 and will use 2.7 Anyone does the same ? I feel like it's a great change of pace and it's more fun to play

Most users would have to use 1.0 sens with 400 DPI if they did this though.

True, we must not forget that we are on HLTV.

But for real though, I have no tried this, but I do have a bad habit of changing my sensitivity from time to time. Just recently switched to 2.1, 400 DPI from 2.5, 400 DPI.

I feel like I keep getting better and better, it's way better than randomly changing your sens every other week or so. When I will change my sens again I will know that I have to move my mouse little bit slower and it feels like I already played with this sens before you know what I mean ? It's a mental thing

Yeah yeah I get what you mean. Also the fact that you can be mentally prepared for it might help, so you know what you are getting into and when it will happen. I personally feel like higher sensitivity has a bit higher skill ceiling than slow sensitivity, but it's harder to control. Low sensitivity is the opposite and an average sensitivity (around 800 eDPI) would be in the middle. I just switch sensitivity on feeling, but I still try to stick to whatever I am currently using. 2.5 just felt a bit too high for me, even if I performed quite well with it. Low sensitivity feels really nice in DM and aim practice in general, but I usually tend to shit the bed in proper competitive games (besides a few random games from time to time).

Agree, getting good with higher sens is superior to lower sens

That's the conclusion that I've come to as well. I'd still like to push my boundaries and try a REALLY slow sensitivity (like 1.30, 400 DPI) and a really high sensitivity (3 or higher with 400 DPI) and see how those feel. I used to play with an absurdly high sensitivity when I started to play, but I was really bad back then and I'd like to see how I perform with different settings. That might help me find a sensitivity that I actually want to stick with. :)

I put my whole hand 😈 why do you think I'm better at cs huh? Zywoo taught me this, he puts his whole arm up. How do you think he got so good?

That's insane flexibility mens)) he definetly plays it on the down low really good because he doesn't look like a type of guy that can put his whole arm in his arsehole 😌😌😌

i legit used to play on 4650dpi 1.50 and that was me on 10 years old, now it's 800 dpi 1.0 but i play better at 600dpi but suck at awp. i prefer not to change sens or peripherals because it affects my consistency for some reason

My point is, don't change anything. Just trust your tools and settings.

Started playing CS when I was 14 with 400 dpi and sens 1.337 (I was 14 as mentioned, so cut me some slack on this one) Played with this exact settings ever since. (Im 33 now)

I am playing on a mac, on which neither the faceit nor esea client is supported ;( So I can only play MM, which is a shame. I am supreme right now. Have been getting worse though in last couple of years. Reaction times an muscle memory clearly aren't the same anymore as they once were. Still love the game though.

I did kind of the opposite. Every 6 months or so I lower my sens. I'm now at 1.461 at 400 DPI, or approximately 0.73 at 800. I feel like I won't lower it anymore, it feels fine now.

well there are kills you just cant get with low sens, and kills you will miss because of lower precision when using high sensitivity, so it's something you either gotta live with or change up every once in a while to experience both or just for fun. used to use 400dpi 3.5 like f0rest, and in certain situations it's great to use high sensitivity, like multiple enemies popping out and you can snap to them INSTANTLY, but you miss easy shots sometimes. now i use 1.65 like hunter, and i'm much more consistent, but every once in a while someone will kill me before i can snap to them.

sensitivity doesnt matter. just find a comfy key and youre all set
