first of all, im not saying youre wrong or want to play dumb, im trying to respond to your post the way i see it to start a discussion until the thread gets 404'd ;)
"I know a lot of cheaters, I used to cheat myself, and I know how the cheating scene works."
that basically means you got as much plausibility as the guy in the video. so i have to dimiss this
"Second, the guy featured in the video just wants recognition, he says in the video he doesn't want Valve to know who he is because they do manual bans, I don't know whether this is true or not, but regardless, why would he then comment the video, exposing who he is?"
how does he expose himself by posting a youtube account? i could show you mine and you would never draw the connection to this account here or to any of my other accounts on any other platforms, etc
"He also says he uses private cheats that are lesser known, but if you go to his channel you can see him advertising gamesense and other stuff, that are private but basically public cheats."
how does one exclude the other? again, this yt account, what does it even say? only what the guy wants it to say, right?
"edit pt2: Generally that guy just doesn't know what he is talking about, he says there wasn't any private cheats for CSGO in 2015, which there was."
this can mean he didnt have access back then. im pretty sure there are more communities than only one that are providing private cheats so maybe he just didnt know. again, for me that doesnt prove hes not who he says he is.
if i was using private cheats, i surely wouldnt go about and tell anyone. but if i did i would make sure you cant trace whatever i say as this "public person" back to me.
we agree on one thing however: hes looking for attention.
