Well it clearly works out for him then
"sh1ro plays the safest position in order to not die early"
wow he is so risky
Isnt that VP strat that JAME also uses?
wow, the guy doesn't go for crazy peeks and doesn't want to lose his awp. The guy's impact must be close to 0
yeah so why does he has by far the highest impact rating on the team? this is so cringe wannabe analyst
It reminds me another CIS player...
Not taking early risks is a good thing, I don't know if you realize that. Unless your team is weak that's been the meta for several years now.
Losing awp early = lose round
"Forget about ratings, stats don't tell the story as much as literally watching sh1ro does. sh1ro plays the safest position in order to not die early, rarely goes for anything aggressive on either T/CT even on eco rounds, and doesn't take any risks. Most of the time sh1ro is just holding the line with the AWP until someone walks into his crosshair. If nafany's gameplan for the particular round doesn't work out, then sh1ro usually just run away to save the AWP (on CT)."
You just described how any awper should play in this meta, but given your negative introduction I think you were trying to critique him. Wanna give it another go, or just log out?
Same with s1mple lul, yesterday he never peeked any angles before his teammates already cleared it, you didn't have to wait for next round because always last alive etc.
He’s such an autist.
He looks like the guy who talks to himself out loud whenever he’s doing something.
And what's wrong with that? I mean, I get it, you are from NA, people from this region are not really good at thinking they can only make +w and die like noobs. So I'll just ask you, what;s wrong with this gamestyle if it works and Gambit is team1 right now?
But you missed one key point
He wins a shit ton of clutches unlike other notable baiters
Baiting is a tactic i agree but he's the one actually managing to fulfil its purpose
Your observation is correct, but the inference probably isn't. My opinion is that, a player's playstyle should be dependent on the teamplay. And the way Gambit players play, sh1ro doesn't need to do the things you mention. It's effective for him to play very safely.
He looks like a young device much more than a young simple tbh
He fits in a setup where he isn't required to do many risky plays or show aggression. Just because getting an opening for instance increases your impact rating, doesn't mean he can't be impactful in any other way while playing safe. He still holds the highest impact rating in the team after all. There are many forms of impact and I feel like people only think of opening frags as the whole criteria for being impactful. Moreover he still wins a lot of clutches as the last player alive. If it works for him and for the whole team, he's doing nothing wrong.
he provokes chaotic situations, but his team makes him play in safe angles mostly. one time or another he risks himself into something tricky and usually is rewarded by his amazing mechanical skill
They do be have gameplan for sure, that's why gmb is top 1 team atm
He plays like every other CIS awper does. Jame, somple, etc all bait hard and save. Its more of a regional playstyle
sh1ro is probably the smartest player in decision making on csgo rn. all his decisions are on point and he always seems to know exactly what he is doing. for sure he lacks proactivity, but there are players doing it on gambit. if sh1ro needs to be proactive during a round, it’s because round plan was fucked up.
having the awp almost every round is a very high impact
just its presence makes it way harder for other teams
also he is the best at clutching on the team so why not play safe
tldr you don't know what impact means
Because he isnt a star player, he is just good enough to fight against tier 1, The real star on Gambit is Ax1le
yes sh1ro is a bigger baiter than s1mple and Jame combined, this guy is a criminal and should have 0 deaths at the end of the game given his playstyle
but they win. so whats the big deal
You’re criticising gambits system as a team, who are the number 1 team in the world.
Thats their system and it's working. Or do you want him to play like arT and throwing rounds on left and right?
I'd rather agressive players, like arT, who dies or kill in the first seconds. But still cool to see more passive players.
Good stats but still a very boring player.
this why his impact rating is shit
0.52 deaths per round, Shiro is even lower than Jametime who has 0.54
shiro is a clutch player so it makes sense
Going 1 for 1 as awp-er would be really dumb so what's your point?
the rise of blamef/sh1ro type players is really annoying, insane stats - low impact - boring to watch
oh no, he's using the easiest weapon in the gain and just holds angles to click at the right time, weird how the game developed in this direction
SH1RO PLAYS NOT FOR IMPACT, BUT FOR WIN!
every style of awping is good as long as you get kills.
u cant say he doesnt play for impact, because you cant be top1 if ur awper doesnt make impact.
impact is not only entry kills.
not dying has a huge impact
I want to see this kid on LAN, actually there is a lot of players I want to see in LAN from this online era to see if they can actually deal with Na'vi's slow execution t side where you actually have control over your timings instead of random shit happening every round.
If LAN was still here Na'vi would be dominating the scene so easily rn, they are really the only non pug onliner trash team in the tier 1 atm who isn't struggling to adapt to the meta as they still produce results, their play style will work way better in LAN it's obvious but it's strong enough to compete even onliner pug CS which is good sign, Na'vi era is coming when LAN is back.
he is set up to win 1v1's/1v2's
so he is a passive awper, just like dev1ce
