i sleep at 4 am and wake up at 8. Still alive. Living like this for 8 years

Every person has another amount to sleep. It can be everything from literally 5 to 12 hours. but most of us need 7-8 hours, if u assume, that ppl doing sports or got a job, doesnt matter if its office or some crafting/building job.
Sleep isn't only about the hours slept. Going to be later, say at 2am, and sleeping till 10am, is far worse than going to bed at 10am and sleeping till 6am. It has to do with the way the human body functions in relation to the day night cycle.
Of course people here on HLTV will tell you its fine but you really should be going to bed way earlier if you can afford to wake up so late.
Nigh time most people are tired and less productive at doing anything, games or work. It's good for discipline to if you go to bed earlier, will help you out in life 100%.
If you've been doing this for a long time you may not realise that you are sleep deprived and your functioning way below max potential, your just very used to it. Especially if you're still growing as a kid.
I always sleep 8 hours. I still have enough time to do my work because it's more important than cs. I'm also better at CS with this lifestyle change now. I don't know if it would work for you but I would highly recommend going to bed earlier and making sure you can maximise your sleep.
Long ass comment but sleep is like super important, I started having health issues due to the lack of it and it really woke me (heh - get it) the fuck up.

It's all pretty logical, let your brain rest or it will take damage.
usually when i have to wake up early i sleep for like 7 hours and i'm always super tired and then i have to sleep for like 14 hours during the weekends and it's not even that strange that i sleep for over 12 hours everyday for a week (when i'm tired)

in terms of pure raw health.. you can sleep 6-5 or even 4 hours and "function" strictly speaking. no real source about this (other than what I've heard) but this is the kind of hours you sleep at the military service for example.
however the lower you go, the shittier you will feel. and within a few days, you'll just want to die. ofc in the long run this will bring other problems.
so you are basically at the bare minimum.

i think its pretty decent... most people sleep around 6-7h, even if 8h is the normal i think its almost impossible to sleep 8h or at least in my situation its been a really long time since i have slept a good 8h

i used to sleep 3h a night when i was in high school, that got old really fast
6 hours is just fine. I slept like 4 hours when I was a kid and am I 195 cm so if you are a kid, don't worry
Idk, I like sleeping a bit longer but maybe my health is just bad, you should sleep a bit earlier I suppose but I have this kind of a problem that I can rarely force myself to sleep and sleep at the same time/earlier than previous day soo maybe you are there 2, idk what I'd tell you there.

If you feel good then great. If you don't, try sleeping longer.

duration of sleep is only one aspect - when you go sleep is also important, we evolved to sleep around the sun...your body has its own clock - google 'circadian rhythm'.

I sleep 10 hours and I still feel lethargic. Sleep isn't the only factor, 6 hours can be enough if you don't stress yourself physically and eat the right food with enough calories.
