INTERNATIONAL TEAMS

Looks like they are suffering boys -FAZE expected to be a top contender by karrigan's arrival, have dropped from events early on, even dead last -MOUZ has shown some good signs but as of now it seems they wont get very far with dexter -COMPLEXITY, as far as i am writing this they might even lose to fnatic right now. They have been very lackluster lately and it's a shame, considering how much of a talent that team has. Hoping they get their shit together. -OG, still kind of early days, but with Aleksib they SHOULD be doing better than they did before and not losing close series. But i have hope they might get their shit together in upcoming months. Still, not tier 1 material yet -G2, the only team that has seen some good results and actually has qualified for events and made it far, but still are really chaotic in their approach and with current strats dont look like they would beat Heroic or Gambit TLDR: International teams right now are poo poo, except for G2

Topics are hidden when running Sport mode.
OG are in flames. mouz has been improving a lot now acor at his best form since he joined. FaZe's final chance to show something is in FP3 if they dont get at least 6th they are dead to me. poizon is bad and jks isnt good so they rely on k0nfig and blamef. If poizon is playing well coL are instantly way better. but yeah only G2 playing up to expectation right now

And? This roster has been playing for 1 month and played 7 series. They have 2 new players in an international lineup one of which is a new player to T1. How are they "in flames" when they lose to Astralis (who beat way better teams) and to Vitality, who have ZywOo and played great maps finally?

And? They’re in flames. Or is there another OG that’s top 10 or winning tournaments?

Hmm, so Gambit and Heroic are in flames after losing to Navi? Astralis is in flames after losing to G2? G2 is in flames after losing to Gambit? Get your head out of your ass. A team is not in flames when they lose matches.

You’re right, they’re not in flames when losing some matches. But they’re in flames when the core’s last relevant placement was 6 months ago, and this iteration isn’t exactly tournament competitive either.

Then it's better to say that OGs last lineup was in flames, and it was, which is why 2 of them got replaced. A core doesn't grant you titles. Not to mention a hundred other circumstances.

lol blamef is literally the issue, cunt baits way too much imagine if jks wasn't limited to bitch roles, poizon is only good on mirage it seems

Yeah, that was what I have tried to focus on. The only international team to have won a major was speaking on their 1st/2nd language
2021-05-15 22:03
not really an international team tho. Common language. International teams in cs mean that players arent speaking their native language (3/5)

I thought that international team was with at least 3 different nations. Ez for cis tho, since Kazakhs know Russian, Ukrainians know russian, Belorusian know russian, so it is easy to communicate

Gambit are the only team to have 2-3 nations in their team, therefore - 3 different passports in their team, therefore - the only international team to have won major. Before and after Krakow, only full nation stacks have become major champs

if the team has more than 3 players from the same country it’s not an international team anymore it’s national team, It doesn't matter which country the other team members are from!

is it? Ok then, but it doesn't change the fact that Gambit are the only team to win a major title with different passports( I am not saying they are international, but they are the only winners with different passports, others were full stack

Sure at some point, but if you want to compare them 1 to 1 we need to see them at the same level. OG, FPX, Mouse and G2 are all very good in top 10-20, but begins to lack(maybe not g2) in top 5-10
2021-05-15 22:22
oh yeah forgot about them they are better than i expected, styko still destroying fools but of course, it's not like they are insane top tear team and they barely have any achievements that said, they can go far this tournament since a lot of people don't know what to expect
2021-05-15 22:03
they have been t1.5 for ages now. Maybe they have a good run in FP3

Mouz are actually on a rise right now. Frozen and Ropz were always good. They only needed Acor to find his Tricked/Mad Lions form back which seems to be happening given their last few matches and on top of that, Dexter is putting frags too now (mind you , Dexter was the highest rated player in AU while leading them) Bymas can fuck off, they don't need him. I said it they day it got leaked, Karrigan made the wrong decision career wise G2 are somehow doing good which is very surprising to me given them having no T side awper. Amanek has down a fairly well job with it on CT side though and Hunter baiting Jackz has got him on fragging again. Other teams, yea I agree they are fucked atm. Forgot about FPX here and they are probably better than everyone else on this list barring G2.

+1 Quite good analysis Imho G2 > Mouz > FPX = CoL > FaZe > OG
2021-05-15 23:09
"as of now it seems they wont get very far with dexter" ??? Did you not watch their games in the last month or so? mouz would be struggling with karrigan if he was still on the team. dexter is actually doing well, and he also entries a lot.

with karrigan they have won trophies don't know if dexter can even do that Of course i hope for the best, but it's hard for me to see them beat some of the best teams in the future Seems like they have produced decent results but the teams they have beaten

karrigan didn't immediately start winning trophies with mouz either. It was only a few months ago that dexter came to EU after playing in AU for a year or so and had to adapt to a new playstyle, a new team, a new role, new tactics, new calls etc. and not to mention that acoR is also a new player as well. Given the circumstances, they've done alright. Already won a tier 2 event and their only recent losses are to teams like G2 and NaVi who are both top 5 teams atm. Not to mention that these recent losses happened during their "hell week" where they were playing 30+ maps in 3 or so days. karrigan meanwhile can barely frag in FaZe with a 0.8-ish rating. They only need to iron out some things here and there and they'll easily be a top 10 team. They're on a promising upward spiral, so it's way too early to discount them.

Of course im not trying to say dexters has done fuck all, i respect what he's done and it's remarkable considering the whole situation. The team right now compared to first time they played with dexter looks much better. For me finding an igl like karrigan that has made internation teams win trophies in the past is hard and dexter has done none of that. Not saying he can't, but he has A LOT to prove. Im just wondering if it can be too much for him to fix since this team really did look terrible the last tournaments they had with karrigan I think moving on they are going to be good, but if i was a betting man they will go in events and will not get to semi-finals or lose to a good team in groups Also im afraid ropz will be taken away in that 9 month time frame, thats the feeling im getting if im honest

Every international team the players are paid alot, they have nothing in common other than they play CS. You can buy players but you cannot buy national pride and hunger, it's not just speaking English or whatever. The best teams that ever played this game all have the same thing in common, there was a core of 3-4 countrymen who grew up and climbed through the ranks together, went through struggles to become champions later on. You cannot buy that. The only time international teams will succeed is when the only teams left are international and it's heading that way, it.will be a shit show like EPL is.

I agree in some ways with that but i don't think it's impossible for players in these teams to find the motivation or the work ethic to become the best like gambit or navi. It has worked in the past so i think it's absolutely possible to have like 3 out of 5 top teams to be international. The edge that these teams have is of course the firepower and the talent. It's insane how many of the top 20 players in the past are in these teams. Most of them very experienced. I guess the real problem is the leadership or lack of it. Also you have the problem of people coming from different regions or countries having their own understanding and work ethic, and to get these people on the same page even after months is a really tough task, maybe even too tough for current igl's. Still, i think the firepower of these teams is insane. With the right igl or the right person you can definitely make magic. I think most of these teams are 1 or 2 roster move away from becoming the best tldr: i dont even know how to summarize all this shit just read fast idk

I kindly disagree, it just doesn't work the only reason why they can be in tier 1.5 CS because they literally have the best line ups in the world. It's not a language barrier it's honor pride etc, you can't teach it nor buy it, the only way it can work imo if you buy 15-18 olds with potential and start from there.
