I wouldn't buy either... I have a friend who owns the CX-5 and he seems happy.

Well yeah, I guess a rav4. I don't mind the interior and I trust Toyota. I suppose cars are just like anything else. They're up to your own personal taste.

Woah,Mazda interiors are a lot nicer than I thought they would be. The red Interior of the cx-5 is nice.

Alot of older luxury cars from 2010-2013 are now pretty cheap. Only had their first big service around 100k milage with the timing belt etc. I'm considering a decent Audi just to try it out, and in about 5 or 6 years I'll see where the hybrid/electric market is at :)

Lmao 10 year old luxury car is a guaranteed monetary disaster, why do you think those cars lose like all of their value? Its good as a hobby/weekend car but not as a daily driver, there are so many things that can go wrong in those cars unless you get that 1/10 that was maintained and driven properly

Did you recently buy an older car with problems since so mad? Yeah I know they lost 4/5 of their original value. That's why I'm buying one now while it still has 300k miles left in it. Do the research some are effing reliable with little to no repair costs. Before I'm going economic, but I don't trust that technology to be fully developed yet. I.E. you will loose money on new cars aswell and maybe even more))

Im not mad at all lol There are some luxury/premium cars that dont have tons of problems,Lexus has a good reputation but then you cant pick one up for cheap because they hold their value really well.Cars like BMW,Audi,Mercedes,Jaguar etc lose huge amount of their value because people know 99% of them will need tons of expensive repair to maintain, especially ten year old ones that have lots of technology. Sure you can get a good one if you really know what you are doing and check like 15 cars but its going to be really hard, they lose their value for a reason.

Good choice men, I picked up the Mazda 3 in 2020 but would have loved to have the turbo version though. I also drove the CX-30 for a long testdrive but I liked the feeling of 3 a bit more as I'm not a fan of SUVs and higher center point of view but yea otherwise great car, the seats are quite nice in the CX-30. If you enjoy driving it's a good car as the handling and such are excellent and imo the exteror and interior are top-notch on the latest generation. All the electronic stuff in how automatic high beam turns off and on automatically works really great and for me living in Finland the automatically turning on/off de-frosting of rear window and the automatic heating of the seats + steering wheel works perfect. The only downsides to CX-30 and Mazda 3 imo are the somewhat cramped rear seat space (it's just "good enough" unless you are all very tall) and imo the turbo-less version is somewhat slow but turbo version I suppose would be "okay".
