SA????
United States Fysics
This is probably been said before but why are South Americans teams allowed to come and just take North American teams RMR points??? They have their own events, and North American orgs do not go and steal their points. No different that some EU org taking NA points, for ex. Cloud9 is NA based, international roster, Col is NA based, international roster, I think Faze is same thing. People would be up in arms if they competed in NA. There is literally more Non-NA players than NA players in THE NA RMR EVENT. Volvo wtf.

well they're based in NA so for all intents and purposes they're NA teams there's nothing saying NA teams couldn't go to brazil and beat everyone to qualify it's also kind of necessary for regions to improve though so oh well, but I can see why it's a problem too

but then, you could say like col could be in NA rn instead of flashpoint, ppl would go shit crazy

I mean sure but it's kind of a false symmetry? Like if coL decided to move to NA it would be pretty obvious that they're doing it just because it's easier to qualify compared to Europe but that's not the case with BR teams since they're clearly going to a harder region to improve I know that's not a concrete criteria but I guess it's common sense

Probably because NA is very weak now in the teams left outside the ones that were always there, Like Liquid and all iterations of EG.

I mean CBCS is literally a campionship with only br teams but the tournament itself isn't such a big thing especially when Mibr won and they got stomped in EU, and considering the "major" would have only brazilians it wouldn't really be a major

more events w/ higher prize pool more major slots highest issue is how brazil cs developed skill-wise and especially marketing-wise recently but they didnt fix this demand with more events/major slots on SA

Because some Br teams live in NA for the better infrastructure so it doesnt make sense for them to play in BR events which are far away

Don't blame the Valve for NA teams sucks We can't do anything if NA players prefer Riot's fairytale game

Think that NA and SA regions have to be just "Americas" and to have the same RMR tournaments for both regions. Like, why not. Some org like ESL or any other could take the organization, and to have 3-4 major slots.
