Hello mens)) This just randomly popped in my head and I remembered this tweet by robiin after he got removed from Endpoint: twitter.com/robiinCS/status/138592181053.. Everyone knows fnatic is struggling right now and at least in my opinion robiin played alright on Endpoint and I feel like he could be a potential replacement for Golden in fnatic as an IGL. What do you guys think?

I think most players do that once they get benched or removed, so it shouldn't be anything out of ordinary.

That's what I thought about as well. Everything else has already been tried and it seems like fnatic is in rebuild mode either way. That combined with Golden's poor individual form in recent times doesn't make it much easier. Just thought that adding robiin could be a nice change on paper and could potentially improve them, even if it's a gamble. I personally can't see them coming back with this current lineup.

I haven't heard of that, so you could be right. Haven't looked too much into robiin's background or anything, but I remember watching a few Endpoint games and he looked solid. (hence the thread)
2021-05-19 01:12
well he is defo good with Brollan and peppzor (played on mixes together) i feel like the only problem would be JW but he is likely on his way out anyway
2021-05-19 01:16
Golden has been playing bad for a long time, so I guess robin could work better
2021-05-19 01:08
Could happen. He did play with both Jackinho and peppzor in the past right? hopefully jw will get replaced with peppzor very soon

He could have, but I have no clue honestly. I haven't followed robiin too much, but this thought just randomly popped into my head and I thought it looked alright on paper. That too. JW and Golden have looked lackluster for quite some time now and I don't really see any reason not to just switch Peppzor to the main lineup and move JW on the sidelines for the time being.

I think the whole team is struggling on the server and mentally, so I wouldn't blame it all on Golden. I just thought that he has looked a bit lackluster recently and +robiin could be an okay move on paper. Besides this is just for fun and not like this is actually going to matter at all. :D

watching fnatic player cams after getting elimed by col makes it clear that it's a mentality issue imo, not player issue

Very much true. Everyone is losing form, but I guess their biggest problem is on the mental side as you said. Hopefully they'll find a way to fix that, so they can rise to the top again. :) Besides this thread was made for fun and I'm not expecting this to have an actual impact on anything. I just thought this could be a fun topic to discuss with fellow HLTV users.

Not sure if adding olofmeister is necessary, since fnatic already have Peppzor as a substitute (potential JW replacement in the future?).

no way robiin to replace Golden as IGL or make changes in the IGL role in the team, don't believe this.

I'm not too familiar with his past, the tweet that I put in the original post just popped into my head while making this thread. I thought it could be a fun idea to discuss with other HLTV users. Not going to say anything about him being a sexist or a racist (highly doubt those though), but I am quite sure he is clear to play on Valve events. Edit: Yes he is clear, just found a tweet about it on his Twitter profile: twitter.com/robiinCS/status/103781745368..

Just because he's cleared doesn't mean he isn't a dogshit person. He has most likely paid someone to SE that vac ban because he was 100% cheating.

When I made this thread, it just randomly popped into my head and nothing else. I guess it could be a gamble move, but it could work. This thread was made just for fun anyway and I seriously don't expect this to happen, even if it would be possible. Just wanted to hear what other HLTV users thought about this idea.

The only swedish igl that can do the job and do it better than golden at short notice is dennis. The problem is that he is not exactly future proof. He is on form though and his calling has improved aloalot since back when he was calling for nip.

robiin said he could IGL, but I have no clue has he even called before (I'd still assume he's somewhat okay). In Endpoint MiGHTYMAX was calling, but he could've been a 2nd caller or something. I guess I just thought this would be a gamble that might be worth trying. Who knows if it would work out. :)

Yes he has called before. But.. If he was good enough then he would have broken into T1 years ago. Hes been playing in these T3 teams since 2013, the only reason hes name even comes up now by people like yourself is because you think fnatic is desperate and there are no options out there right now. And no, robiin is not a "gamble", there is no way they sign robiin then becomes a good stable T1 team. It wouldnt be a gamble without the possibility of a pay off, just a lackluster pointless move. Dennis though would be a gamble, with potential for a pay off. We all know he is a good fragger with good crisp aim, and his calling has improved alot. And since there are no other options out there right now, I would go for that gamble. (there obviously not getting hampus-lekro-friberg)

I haven't followed robiin too much, so I wasn't aware of this fact. I just thought he looked solid in Endpoint and thought that it could in theory be an okay move. Besides I mostly made this thread for fun to see what other people would think about this. :) But you make very good points and obviously dennis could be a better idea, but he is also contracted to Apeks. :(
