You'll probably lose about 2-4 lbs a week
16 and 118KG
wtf you eating?
yes also dont forget to get alot of rest. since suprisingly the more u rest the more u can burn fat ^^
Sounds horrible. You know you can actually Cook and eat amazing and still lose weight? Low calorie foods makes you full but not fat
keep on going this route good luck
i was 100 kg
i started eating healthy and working out regularly past 2 years
im 85kg now and i just gain muscle
Eat 2500 calories per day and you will lose weight fast to normal point. However, i don't think your skin will disappear\adapt to your new body, so, i would recommend do some sports, it will be really great.
Sport and walking\running aren't necessary.
i was also quite a fat kid for the most of my childooh lets say, lost most of my weight during quarantine. I went to sleep early, woke up late and stopped eating so much (mostly cut up on sweets, sounds generic ik :D). WIth time you will definitely lose weight as well. U got everything planned out, diet and exercies, just keep doing that and with time you'll be better, good luck!
But your diet is REALLY restrict. You will feel lazy/weak after 5 days aproximately.
You should plan a "cheat meal" high in carbs like each 3 days.
i suggest you to go to gym and start to work on your muscles. cause burning fat means you will also burn some muscle in the process, except you work on it.
i belive in you men.
just litterary eat less calories then you burn a day and do some sort of exercise. EZ
no diet advice, but in general carbs makes u fat - know from experience, when i cut carbs for like 8 months i was a skeleton lost like 20kgs, but is it healthy? i dunno, i would suggest lifting weights, not cardio
You will! It is great to hear that you are changing your Lifestyle to optain a better physique and I think just starting by walking and improving your diet is a great idea.
Not eating and drinking dugar probably is the biggest game changer, to much of that stuff is poison for your body.
Your eating routine sounds okay, but be more imaginative. Change it up a little bit from time to time. Try eggs, fish, different kinds of veggies, brown rice, etc. Also don't eat too little, so you won't end up with yoyo effect.
Excercising is great, try running instead of just walking when you feel like it.
And also don't forget to rest. Sleep 8 hours a day and even try to meditate.
And keep up! You probably won't see results immediately, don't let that stop you from achieving your goals.
Good luck bro!
persistence is the name of the game mate, it's all about that, if you'll continue you will.
Well, it's hard to say like this.
What did you eat before? (How much was your calorie intake before?)
You can overeat good, healthy foods too, basically, your calorie intake should be lower than how much you burn.
Calculating your height, your weight, the light activity you do, you burn cca 2500-2800 kcal a day. (It's probably more because of the 2-hour walks, but let's count with less kcal burned, so you lose more weight if you burn more.)
So basically you just need to stay under 2500kcal a day. Do not starve yourself, because once your diet is over your body will react to normal eating as "let's store all this fuel, because we were starving, and we don't want to starve again." So your body will be like a bear's before winter. Storing everything for harder times.
There are a lot of websites on which you can calculate how much calories you take in. Just write it up, and measure everything. How much oatmeal do you eat, if you put in it honey add that too, the milk, the fruits you add. You just need to count your whole day once or twice, you will get the basics down, after that, you will be able to pour the same amount of oatmeal into your bowl, etc.
And worry about the whole month, not about a day. You can have a cheat day, but do not overdo it. If you want to eat pizza instead of chicken and veggies go for it once a week. But not with 3 fuckin large pizzas with sodas and shit. Just a pizza or a few slices. Counting the whole month you will still burn more than consume.
just drink water non stop and you gonna lose 200kg
Yeah you will
Get into calisthenics too. You'll like the feeling of your body even more as it changes
Don’t try to hard. If you do too much at first you will lose motivation. Go slow so you don’t burn out
as others said dont go crazy, still make sure ur eating enough and start losing weight at a healthy pace. you dont want to be starving yourself. i was in a similar position 1-2 years ago, think at my heaviest i was like 100-105kg when i was 18, now im 20 and around 80kg and im much happier
I think you will lose some weight ! Good luck man, I hope you will continue to have a nice routine after you lose the weight you want to lose you will be more able to accept yourself and i hope you will be proud of you !
I would recommend you trying out the Keto diet combined with exercise.
Its hard to lose weight and don't expect fast results.
The lost weight journey its about discipline and consistency, its hard but the reward its great.
Ear regulary and healthy, drink water and the green tea only, drop that coffee shit, you dobt need it at all.
Walks are good as a beginning you should gradually excersise more as body will get use to it and you wont lose weight. Remember, calory outcome > calory income -> weight loss, its that easy
If you take this seriously, drop fruits (lookup how much sugar you actually need for a proper brain fuction etc) as well and drop all pastry as well.
For a rough estimate there are like a bilion online calculators online.
You will but don't panic if it doesn't happen immediately. It might take a while until you start seeing results on the scale. Trust the process and the laws of physics, lol. You WILL lose weight if you eat and drink less than you consume. With the diet you described, that will almost certainly happen unless you are eating massive proportions of food.
just eat 1500 kcal every day
Good luck buddy, I was extremely obese and I had 147kgs at 19yo.. then I completely changed my mindset and managed to lose 65kg over 2years (currently at 82kgs).. keep the hard work and focus on eating properly, I managed to lose all that weight with proper walking and running everyday:) and I am happier than I ever was :)
just a pro tip: try to think of this diet as a way to explore new food and in the long run develop a better eating behaviour which will last forever, also dont be to strict/extreme, it should be gradual changes, step by step. gl on ur journey mens)
you doing good. if you keep going you WIN BIG.
good luck man.
It's good. Taking a walk is good but I would recommend you to walk on uphill slopes and sometimes just run. Not necessarily far but preferably short distances
(note: I'm not talking about running about uphill slopes since that can actually lead into unnecessary injuries that will just slow down your progress of losing weight from the first place).
And maybe do some small body weight exercises at home or gym whatever you feel comfortable doing. Just don't go way to hard unless you truly know what you're doing.
Portions matter, calculate your calories while eating. After all, eating a whole chicken drumstick and eating small chicken pieces with veggies will have their difference.
when i was 16, i was 185cm and 104kg, i just changed to a healthy alimentation + 30-60 min walking.
in 4-5 months with this routine i lost 20kg, i think you can have similar results
Achieve calorie deficit (through counting your calories) + weighttraining = lose fat, build muscle.
The important thing is to allow yourself to cheat a few time and not give up. When you are at a party for example and eat a handful of snacks, its easy to think you failed and eat the whole bowl.
Improve 1% everyday
Walking 5-6 km a day is a great start
I was 102,8KG 1,5 month ago, started counted my calories and now im 97,5... i was surprised at how easy it was getting started (i use lifesum app, but there a many of such apps).
Also i can recommend you find a Couch to 5k run program, it ranges from 6-10 weeks, and you'll be able to run 5k... = more calories burned in less time than walking
I do intermittent fasting and I was able to keep my weight steady and lost some as well. If you keep doing what you're doing as well as incorporate intermittent fasting, you gotta lost plenty of weight.
Also please incorporate some weight training please, you will need more than some cardio if you wanna get shredded
Try intermittent fasting ( 16 h fasting a day, include sleeping )
For exemple : one meal at 13 h . Eat fruit in the afternoon if you need it. One last meal at 20h30/21h . And then you don't eat during 16 h . Next meal > 13 h . Repeat
Use this app: Myfitnesspal
You can scan and keep up with your calorie intake!
It will give you a max calorie amount according to your current weight, how active you are, and how much you want to lose in a week.
This worked for me, lost about 13kg so far, 12 more to go until i reached my goal but im halfway there!
The first week or 2 will be hard, really have to stop yourself when having cravings, but after that it'l be easy.
Put EVERYTHING in the app, every drink which is not water, every gram of food you eat, put it all in there and you'll succeed!!!!!!
You will definitely lose weight, it would help if you knew how much calories your metabolism burns on average per day so you can stay below it, I would guess you burn around 2500 calories but I can't know for sure
900 calories equals 100g of fat so if you want to lose 100g per day just by eating you should eat around 1600 a day, of course that physical activity will help
If you put your dedication to it ofcourse you will loose weight.
after you lose some weight, try switching to regular food if you feel your diet is too restrictive. i eat all types of foods (not soda though, way too much sugar) in MODERATION. also try increasing the intensity of your workouts to include weight lifting + compound movements, and do them with little rest. Snatches, for example, build power, focus on multiple muscle groups, and will get you super sweaty if you do a bunch with very little rest. It's a crazy fat burner and takes way less time than going for super long walks. I eat basically anything I want, work out intensely 4+ days per week (each workout is 45 mins or shorter), I am 5 foot 10.5 inches, weight about 155 lbs, and am super lean. you can do it!
Yes you seem very disciplined and focused on your goal so there is little doubt in my mind that you would not be able to lose weight.
Yes you will. Keep going, and good luck!
don't eat trash, throw all (i mean all) snacks away, no chips, no nuts, no chocolate. drink water and keep your walking routine.
Listen bro, keto, (20 carbs per day), do one meal a day (23 hrs fasting). This is the best choice.
time bro u can do it , i found myself 2 years ago in that situation , but i just started to eat less things and doing more exercise , trust me with time and focus you can do anything ! GL MA BOY
If you want to lose weight fast, the easiest way is to intermittent fast, whilst staying away from carbohydrates. This way your body will use fat storage as energy. The process is called ketosis.
If you use more calories than your intake, you will loose weight.
you are doing very good, i have the opposite problem kinda (not as big but yea - 181 cm and 67 kg)
what you must realize is that what are you doing right now isnt a temporary thing but a lifestyle.
Embrace that and you will lose weight before you know it.
Slow but steady. Keep it up and you’ll get there. Nice that you’re doing it the healthy way, which is also the most consistent one. I’ve been working to bulk up instead but it’s been a ride aswell.
Keep it up man. I was 120 kg and i am only 175 cm, now around 80. The only thing you need to do is to not give up on tentations. a few months and you will get where you want. I recommend jogging instead of walking for 30-35 mins.
Keto diet + sport = ez lose weight
This is not a sustainable plan. You need to find a better plan or you are going to give up soon.
Listen man, go check andershofman's last post on instagram about motivation. Its 100% true and it might help you.
Hes incredible guy, suggest you to follow him.
And dont do diets. They are short term things which might get you some results, but would eventually make you to give up. Make it your new lifestyle and enjoy that.
diet seems fine actually. i never eat breakfast, only 1 fruit until lunch and i actually struggle to put on weight. you can eat as much lunch/dinner as you want, just dont buy stuff to eat in between or in the evenings.
also try fasting, if you have a weekend with no obligations just dont eat for 2-3 days. experience for yourself that you are completely fine without food for a short period. you will feel hungry only for 1 day, after that you will feel a bit slow but without desire to eat. i think its an instructive experience
Tbh honest all this isnt necessary just stop eating junk and start working out. Starving yourself is gonna speed it up slightly but its no really worth it.
Bless you man, already 5 days of walking good distances, good job man.
You will definitely lose weight. It might be very hard to keep that up for long tho but for sure a great start. Hardest thing is to keep going, my tip is if you cant keep up one day and you eat some junk food or miss a walk one day. Instead of beating yourself up and maybe giving up tell yourself it's ok to skip one day and try to commend yourself for all the days you were doing your routine consecutively and being healthy. And then keep going next day and don't give up! Missing one day or being unhealthy one day won't have a big impact on reaching your goal if you can be healthy 10 days after, so if you fail one day it's ok, just brush it off and keep going the next!
I get the feeling of not wanting to go to the gym when your not in shape but I think the hardest part is going there. People generally don't care how you look. You might even find someone who is willing to help out and train with you, teach you all the equipment etc. Someone that might have been in a similar situation like you a few years back. I would consider setting it up as a goal to go to the gym after you have lost 10 kilos or something like that. But for losing weight you will be absolutely fine just doing walking or jogging on your own. It's also harder to gain muscle while being on a diet and gaining muscle will make you gain weight so you really need to look at how your body is changing rather than looking at the scale.
I would also consider taking a look at keto, there is a ton of information and recipes online for that. I haven't tried it myself tho but i hear it's great for some and if you can afford in you can have steak every week so... win win.
you'll lose the wight that you want to loose pretty quickly! good luck and dont give up!
didnt read the text , but the answer is no.
Stay away from sugar, fruits/juice is horrible for you. The biggest measure you can do is fasting. Exercise is more for the well-being and functionality of your body. Remember that when you suddenly start exercising alot of your fat will be converted into muscle, so this doesn't help alot in pure weight reduction. But naturally muscle>fat health wise. Reduce your intake of food as much as possible and see the effect. Gl!
