OK |

This thread is a reminder that there is no proof that AKUMA have actually cheated. Remember that innocent until proven guilty! Please don't witch-hunt the org and the players, thank you

its my opinion, your thread is also opinion u didnt prove that they are innocent. ofc u can say they are clear because noone caught them bla bla bla. we ll see what esic does and then we can talk about facts

If they were actually cheating, Valve and ESIC could have caught them easily. I trust the decision of Valve and ESIC

We do not have to prove the innocence of teams/players, that should be automatic.

yeah? no anti-cheat, no TS recordings, GOTV had no delay whatsoever. Also, do you think that these massive teams and names in the scene would go after a team just because they think they got beaten? There would be more people who disagree, but all the teams that participated went against Akuma on the open letter sent to Valve. I believe in Innocent until proven guilty. But when an entire CSGO scene is going against you, there is a large chance that they actually cheated. Plus, in #17 you say that Valve and ESIC would have caught them easily. I disagree. The IBP match-fixing scandal went unnoticed for a year before bans were handed out. Same thing with the Coaching spectator bug.

jonty sadly as a member of the internet i have to disagree. whoever a large group of people decide cheated cheated, you cannot drown out the masses.
2021-06-12 05:44
in terms of physical evidence, no there's none. However, the circumstances indicate that there's a big chance that they did. Unlike the Chaos case where it was mostly butthurt fans, this is a case where top pros, analysts and basically 90% of the scene agree that something fishy happened.

With actual rules and measurements by the TO, teams that cheat will be handicapped anyway
2021-06-11 18:34
For Valve no proof, but for basic people there is a ton of proofs. Everyone has enough of info for being sure they cheated somehow (radar case for example). Officially they probably needs something more, thats why investigation still runs.
2021-06-11 18:39
reminder: as much as witch-hunting should never happen, akuma haven't really tried to hide that they've had external information
2021-06-11 19:44

Valve would have caught them if they didnt try to hide it. Therefore, its certain that AKUMA did not cheat.

lmao idk if ur baiting or genuinely believe that ValvE's anticheat is dogshit. Simple as. It doesn't catch some of the most basic hacks, and anyways, I'm not accusing Akuma of using illicit programs, but of gaining information addressed to 3rd parties through a bent intermediary. ValvE don't want to launch a cheating investigation, as they don't have the tools/expertise for that, and don't want to take the blame for a wrong verdict.

I am not baiting. Valve has a strong investigation against akuma, and no cheating was found, therefore, akuma did not cheat

ESIC haven't made any accusations against akuma yet. That doesn't meant they believe Akuma are clean. Very simple logic

Reminder that the accusations are valid because ESIC took action. Until the investigation has any results we do not know anything. Reminder that innocent until proven guilty does not equal facts. The lack of evidence is not evidence that such does not exist! Please do not spread false facts, thank you.

Can I ask why Brazilians are all coming out of the woodworks to try and defend Akuma? I think it's fair to investigate it. MULTIPLE teams came out against Akuma. Just MIBR came out against Chaos. I don't really like how it's just an excuse to just shit on everyone who didn't think Chaos was cheating honestly.

I don't think he is defending Akuma but try to create a strawman using the logic and argument people used around Chaos when his favorite team got beaten Still hurt MIBR sucked balls and blaming Leaf and xeppaaa is easier than to just use your brain and watch the actual matches

+1, haters(especially Navi fans) can cry all they want.
2021-06-12 06:46
Do they have to be snapping to the enemy team's head on each shot they take in order for there to be evidence? All of the CIS teams that were cheating in qualifiers weren't doing anything like that, but they were certainly cheating. Get your shit together Brazil, rise above the CIS plebs that think they have a chance of winning anything by cheating.
2021-06-12 06:54
There is no proof, and there will never be a hard proof because of EPIC. However there is a thing called common sense, and if you think they were not cheating, you probably aren't the brightest egg on this planet lol.

Oh they're guilty plenty, there's just no evidence that can be collected to prove that because of how the CIS RMR was run. Also if you think that they're the only team that have been using betting site feeds to cheat in t2/t3 you're in for a big suprise.
