rest still the same but 1 rank lower
Yea well flag and flair checks out
Liquid should be top 5, maybe even top 3
No Gambit whatsoever?
I get that LAN events are different to online events but implying all of their success is strictly due to the online-era only is a little unfair.
EDIT: Wrong word choice.
Imagine thinking that Astralis come back to 1st, every team at some point gets worse
i don't know about mouz because acor, bymas and sexter. They haven't had that much success in lans
Also where is gambit because i'm sure that they won't fall from top 10
Ever play a LAN in your life? Here's my experience playing my local LAN.
PCs and settings: Monitors are different (I use high-end and my place also high-end but different brand so it doesn't feel the same). Your seat could be uncomfortable depending on space (teams that are on bootcamp should have got an idea of how their spacing should be).
PING: 5 Ping is extremely good. No latency between every players on the server. (this makes T-sided teams look not as good since they cannot use the ping difference and peeker's advantage).
Crowd: I had no real crowd at my place but surely we've seen crowd cheats in LAN events.
Real advantages: The Hype, the ability to seek for info from your teammate's monitor.
TLDR: I feel like most of y'all don't know that LAN comes back only means that players like Xantares playing in Germany is not gonna have the crisp drive-by headshots onto awpers. Teams like Gambit and Heroic are capable of handling the pressure.
Not Astralis aha, LAN won't make Dupreeh a good Awper, nor Will ir make the roles work. NaVi won't find consistency, they didn't find it in LAN nor online. Gambit Will Stay good, ir Will probably be Gambit n1 and G2 n1
VP are more likely to drop off than gambit for sure.
guys you rlly think that Gambit will fall out of top 10 even they are better online? ok maybe they will be not top 1 as now, maybe not top 5, who knows, but out of top 10 just bcs LAN? thats a big disrespect i think :/ Online is not doing everything for Gambit :)
i think astralis cant recover without some big changes
Historically liquid have been top 5 teams on LAN so I wouldn't be surprised if they make it again. Navi again depends on consistency but sure they are in top 5. G2 will be good as everyone have good lan experience.
Even the so-called LAN teams haven't played LANs in 20 months, so they'll be rusty. And Online teams have rarely played LANs, so it'll be new for them as well. I think we can expect many surprises.
