Ronaldo destroyed Coca Cola
Brazil Ricky14
"Cristiano Ronaldo shuns Coke, Coca Cola loses $4 billion. Hours after footballer Cristiano Ronaldo ditched two Coca-Cola bottles for a bottle of water in a pre-match conference, the stock prices of the beverage brand dropped 1.6%. The small gesture, however, left a big dent in Coca-Cola’s stock prices that went down from $242 billion to $238 billion."

yes but isnt it kind of survivorship bias since the firms with that much power and wealth usually get there with morally questionable tactics, so of course then the most powerful of the lost tend to behave one way. i dont think its human behaviour to be that bad with power imo, but maybe im just a bit more optimistic. i get what you mean though, that the generalisation of "you probably" means that many people may behave the same, just in my case i wouldnt agree.

Lol you surely don‘t know about advertisement contracts. Özil was ruled to pay 122k a day if he kept on playing with boots that didn‘t have the nike logo. These companies pay big money and expect a return, if you give them bad press they will sue you.

Yes and they have contracts with the UEFA or whoever organizes the tournament. Not with him himself. They would have to take it up with UEFA, who would then potentially take it up with CR7. Wont happen mate.

Idegaf about them not wanting to to pay taxes. Nobody wants to pay taxes, but we just admit that the reality is that we have to pay them and so we do. Most people get hit by taxes a lot harder than millionairs. A single mother might not be able to pay rent or get food cause of taxes. For people like CR7 it is whethert hey can afford two or three private jets. They already have everything and still feel like they are entitled to more and that is what really pisses me off.
