That's cool, bro. Physics is a very nice area as it is very broad, there is space for more rigorous people in mathematical physics, there are the computational people, biophysicists, experimentalists, etc. I used to work with mathematical physics in undergrad and masters, now I am on a PhD in quantum information / quantum computing. It is more applied than what I used to do, but there is a lot of space for theoreticians like me, so I like it very much. Good luck in your career, man!
