daps retired from Valorant
Brazil ^name^
LOL, sad but good to see he retired from valulrant. CS mb? probably not but maybe coaching. Let's just wait and see I guess. The most unlucky esports player in history imo lol. vlr.gg/22202/daps-steps-down-from-nrg-re..

hopefully he can become a coach or gm or something, he was good at finding and developing players

GM is definitely a good idea, as an IGL he wasn't anything special, but he was always able to spot talent and cultivate a good team dynamic.

i feel like he could also be a coach, but more of a team building coach and less of an in depth tactical one

i really hope he comes back to cs, maybe as a coach or analyst because idk if he can keep up as a player. i have a lot of respect for daps for building a lot of solid t2 na teams and finding and improving young talent

just a couple years ago he was saying tenz is the worst player hes ever played with and will probably never go pro, and now tenz is the best player world in the game that they both play and he is washed up and retired. oh how the turn tables

yeah but he still looks silly now
2021-06-16 20:52
You're taking what he said out of context and he never said he would never go pro lol. You're making up stuff in your head man. Daps said that TenZ was the least prepared pro he has ever played with and wasn't ready to be pro. Never said he wouldn't be pro. TenZ is super insane mechanically and insane aimer but he was overrated in CS and is overrated in Valorant. I mean the dude said "their playstyle didn't suit me." when he cried when he got benched from C9.

he actually did say tenz was unlikely to ever properly become a pro

TenZ definitely just isn't ready to play at a pro-level. I'm not saying he could never reach that level, but he's a lot farther behind than any young player I've ever played with Damian "daps" Steele Quit making stuff up. He just said he wasn't ready. The fact TenZ went on and cried on stream saying their playstyle didn't suit him says enough already.
