First of all, 50% of the time it is the update of windows that has issues. literally nothing can be done by the manufacturer beforehand to prevent them. it is only after ur system has become laggy or has crashed, that issue is found out and drivers get updated.
Secondly, even if it is the driver issue, a user has no option but to go to microsoft for the issue. the source code of updates isnt out in the beta mode for developers to try out and find such issues. When you are directly updating people's personal and work systems expecting everything in millions of configurations would work fine, you are taking this risk of getting blamed for poor updates.
