The problem with BIG right now.

After watching and analyzing countless hours of demos of their matches from this year I came to the conclusion, that they lose too many games. If they want to be a solid top5 team again, I'm sure they need to start winning again. I really don't see any other way. Just losing most of the games simply wont cut it. Thoughts?

A little bit risky. What happens if the other team figures out that BIG is trying to play with a 6man roster? But i don't know. Maybe try it out and see what happens.

You analyzed 100s of vods and in the end you found out they are losing too much? Man, add more ingredients to this subject like what's wrong?

Well, they often have less than 16 rounds when a map is over. I can't be 100% certain but my deep analysis indicates that this might be part of the problem. So you are right. Simply saying "They need to win more games" doesn't show all aspects of the problem here. I think they also need to win more rounds.

Looking at the other side of the coin would make you think that they should limit their opponents' ability to win rounds. But I'm not an expert like you so I can't state this without any further analysis

Are you suggesting, they should exploit the idea, that both teams can't win the same round at the same time? So rather than trying to actively winning a round, just stopping the other team from winning it and thereby win the round passively, without really doing anything. Interesting idea mate. I might have to watch the demos again

That would hereby confirm the following theory : "when you don't lose, you win"

It's actually the other way round: youtu.be/4P88rKbKCM4?t=76 But I think it might work both ways. Haven't done the math on that.

Not if they lose every game 16-19 in OT. Which would also be pretty impressive ngl.

what if other teams find out this "technique" of winning 16 rounds will win you a game and BIG won't be able to make it work? :/ it's a high risk stake
2021-06-19 22:10

Simple: After you win the 16th round, you just stay on the server as if nothing happened. Or even call a tactical timeout to discuss further strategies. When the other team leaves the server, you convince everyone that they just gave up and left for no reason. No one will know how you won.

I am afraid they would think that this is cheating when you cant even argue about it and they just leave the server so fast :/

i am not racist. Yes, i know he got robbed. Make BIG a only german team. Better comms and a new better player. He got robbed, yes. But that isn't my fault. Everyone can have unlucky times. But this is my opinion, it has nothing to do with racism of any kind. I respect all different countries in the world for being them, and being new.
