I don't watch FaZe as much so I can't tell if rain really is a support which to me doesn't make sense.
You can replace rain and get dupreeh, olof can support and twistzz can be a star player.

Everything is hitting for FaZe right now? Everyone is performing to their standards, which is definitely sustainable through the future tenure of this roster. This is not like IEM NY 2017, where everyone on FaZe had inflated ratings that they would not consistently produce throughout the ages.
Karrigan has been taking a lot of Entries and failing, hence why his rating is lower than usual, but he has acknowledged that in his latest interview, dating a few days back. Considering that they made the play-offs, despite having the 2nd worst t-side conversion rate in the whole event, shows that they are lacking in the tactical side, which is fixable.
Yah, FaZe letting him go would be tragic. A support player with decade+ experience that still puts average numbers is invaluable. You also have Karrigan and Robban around him , so it's not like they don't know how to use olof ;they both have 33 years of Counter Strike experience between them.
I really dont think FaZe should change, don't fix something that's not broken.
I would like to see fnatic try and pick him up, maybe get a roster like this:

Ropz would need to replace rain. I think Twistzz has started to fall back into some of his lurk roles from Liquid, because Karrigan realized he wasn't getting anywhere trying to make rain play passive. Twistzz could realistically do a lot of the stuff Rain currently does, and ideally ropz would fill the lurk role in place of Twistzz. Olof is a support though, you can't really replace a role player with a star, G2 is a great example of what happens when you do.

It's easy to think it's a bad take in hindsight. My point wasn't that Ropz should replace rain, it was that he would NEED to replace rain because of role conflicts elsewhere in the team. When Twistzz was brought he was intended to be more of a superstar carry player, but has since fallen into more flex/support roles, which was a huge part of why he left Liquid in the first place. At the time I posted my original comment Rain was playing a lot more fill spots while Twistzz was doing a good bit more entry/trade fragging work. At that point if you had brought in ropz for Olof you would have had too much role overlap, but that has been avoided by Twistzz taking less priority in the team. Also, Rain had only just put up his first good tournament performance in a long time at Cologne, after two years of mediocre output.
So yeah, tell me more about how I don't know shit about CS.

Fair enough, I'm sure a lot of people think that's a legitimate gotcha moment though. Rain is definitely one of the more impressive career revivals in CS history tbh.
