It's less than what we have a year ago, but more than what we have two years ago. And this is normal because Covid force people to play more, now it's getting a little bit back to normal, and the playerbase count is resetting.
CS:GO is a good game even though most here don't play it anymore, it's just because everybody has a period of activity, when this period is over for them, it might seem like the game has died for them. But the big picture is, game is still slowly growing, and people need to stop expecting games to entertain them for more than 5 years.
plus there are a lot more casuals than people think, the part of the community that wants to grind to improve or get to level 10 or whatever is literally a miniscule percent in comparison to the casuals that just play mm for fun
