It's less than what we have a year ago, but more than what we have two years ago. And this is normal because Covid force people to play more, now it's getting a little bit back to normal, and the playerbase count is resetting. CS:GO is a good game even though most here don't play it anymore, it's just because everybody has a period of activity, when this period is over for them, it might seem like the game has died for them. But the big picture is, game is still slowly growing, and people need to stop expecting games to entertain them for more than 5 years. steamcharts.com/app/730

exactly plus there are a lot more casuals than people think, the part of the community that wants to grind to improve or get to level 10 or whatever is literally a miniscule percent in comparison to the casuals that just play mm for fun valve knows this

what I meant is that most csgo maps/skins/content are made by community members. same cannot be said for "****insert any game here****"

That just proves it's dying. They try to make the most of their CS most profitable game additions - "ZE SKINS" ASADASASAs

skins are one of the reason this game even grew to this level i cant afford skins -> skins = bad LUL

Valve will pay creators less now “ Valve retains its license to the winning entries as User Generated Content under the Steam Subscriber Agreement, and payment of the prize money will be complete compensation in lieu of any payment under Workshop Supplemental Terms.” They used to earn “hundreds of thousands within a year” from % Now capped at 100k epic!
