Another Scam

This is an interesting story that may interest you, so here it goes. Probably very few of you know about Durany. You may also be unaware of the fact that he nearly beat 9z in the Blast Showdown qualifier. Possibly u do not know that it is the only Argentine team classified in the S Series, and other things that have made Durany a strong one in the CS of SA. Yesterday, ReckArg (Durany CEO) released a statement explaining that Juan Pablo Durany, the main investor in Durany Esports, was a scammer who through the Ponzi scheme had scammed 1500 people, raising a total of 15 million dollars. Also, Reck explains that he did not know anything about the scam, that they are only victims and that from the knowledge of him, all the money earned by Juan Pablo was through trading and cryptocurrencies. This story, although unprecedented in Argentina, is already more than known in Latin America. LDM esports this year went bankrupt by another multi-million dollar scam by one of its investors, a team with tens of thousands of followers who were beginning to reap their first successes on LOL and on Valorant. But the funniest thing is that this story happened just 3 months ago, and here we are repeating the cycle. What do you think about it? How could esports teams spot and rule out scammers? CEOs and other investors are accomplices or victims? I read you all

Understandable TL;DR: Juan Pablo Durany scammed 1500 people out of 15 million dollars, and when he found out about the scam Durany Esports went bankrupt due to defaults

Sep, but it's not even the first time this year. the same thing happened 3 months ago with LDM Esports (Mexico). Its main investor went on the run and the club was left with a multimillion-dollar debt even with the mafia that went to look for the money at the gaming house of another team (where the former LDM players were temporarily held) with firearms. crazy
