good for casual playing with your friends, but gets boring after playing for too long imo
Valorant very good game, when i play csgo once in a month now its seems so bad like my character is sliding on the ground. Valorant is future, csgo will die im sure.
cannot put myself through more than 2 games a day, could play 5 on CSGO
also would barely play it if not for the fact people who I play with that I know IRL don't play CSGO
Very easy game if you are decent CSGO player
Valorant is fun if you want to play casually, but it gets boring quickly
No cheaters at all, but there is a lot of trollers still.
fun in a team, scrimming playing tourneys and rewatching ur team's matches.
For pugging, hella boring after 1/2 games
Game is slow, fights tend to be "I peek and I kill or die" where in CS there's a lot of "mini" encounters" and ways to engage a fight, peek or bait the shot. Physics are boring, slow crouch, slow peek, slow fire rate of weapons, you cant be dirty like in CS with the recoil and control it / spray transfer. Killing someone is either aiming at the head, fire 2-3 shots, strafe, repeat or with spells.
Spells are a good addition, it hads variety and tactics. There's a lot of innovative stuff to do with them. It's a bit more tactical than CSGO in pugs.
All in all it's a poor FPS but a decent game.
i just cant deal with all the abilities. other than that its okay
if u want to have smoke/flash u have to pick a specific agent lmao why cant it just be consumables
random shooting (proven btw)
overtime system is almost pointless, might as well give autolose instead
It's a great game, but don't expect it to be a CS:GO reskinned.
Shooting is easier, bad movement is less punishing and abilities gives it a entire new dynamic to the game, compared to CS.
the grind to a higher rank isn't worth it
I just played it for the first time yesterday and I couldn't stop...played probably 10 games in a row
It's super fun, basically csgo but with different agents so you can keep switching every map based on what and how you feel like playing (entry, support, info, firepower...)
Also maps are first to 13 rounds which is great because it takes like 30-35 minutes instead of 45-50 like csgo
+ economy is better, you can half buy 1 round then full buy next round all the time, no need for full eco
It is like downgrading your overall game overall. A top skillful CSGO guy will be a top Valorant player in no time. A top Valorant player will take a long time before he reach that level in CSGO , if ever.
Valorant is the casual version of CSGO in everything. Easier to execute, easier to smoke, easier to flash, easier to navigate thru maps, easier to hit headshots, easier to be effective at all fronts.
So if you are a low skilled player you might find Valorant more "fun" since youll feel like you doing more and being more effective.
I guess the only thing I like about Valorant is how Radiant rank is like the top 1000 players at a time. It'd be cool for Valve to implement a similar ranking system that is more dynamic, but considering the state of MM, hahahahahahahahah. MM is literally HVH at this point, Valve should be fucking ashamed what they've done. "Woooohooo skins yeah!! money money money!!!! wooo hooo! Oh wait, you mean there's consequences for selling our souls for $$$$$? WAIT HOLD ON!"
Good for casual but after 10 games i just decided it's not for me, i just prefer cs more.
valorant is no better if you are tired of cheaters/trollers. its matchmaking works on mmr and when you que for a game its like a lottery where you have a 50% chance to get a good teammates or what you basically mentioned earlier so sometimes its really hard becouse of the people who plays this game :/ But the game itself is easier than cs and for me personally more enjoyable, maybe it will work for you as well
all the losers from CS GO play valorant ))
I've been thinking bout Valorant as well but havent played it just yet
toy cs doesnt sound good for me
riot has done everything valve wont do. csgo is the better game but its ran by absolute morons. I say go for it. Ive played it off and on but dont enjoy the agents/abilities so I play cs every now and again for gunplay. But cs is unplayable unless on 3rd party, which is dogshit
Its fun, give it a shot with friends
id say trolls in mm are just as common
cs player since 2012, switched to valorant in early 2020, gotta say it's a really fun game. a lot more variability in how you can play due to being able to choose different agents which adds a different element than cs. i'd definitely give it a shot- a lot of people on hltv are closed-minded and just shittalk the game because cs is the best competitive FPS ever (true) and tie their egos to it, so props to you for being open-minded
fun with freinds but dont play with randoms
Valorant is filled with smurfs as much as CS is filled with cheaters lmfao but for real I climbed to Plat 3 solo queue before I stopped playing and in my experience, people give up very early in Valorant which is a mood killer when the matches are already so short. Toxicity is also extremely high in Europe usually from Jett players who instantly lock into the character.
From Iron-Plat1 it's filled with smurfs (which they try combat with their hidden mmr system) and anything after that everyone pretty much has a similar level of aim because of the hitboxes so it's not that big of a problem, smurfs still exist after that but with team effort you can still win since solo carrying is hard in Valorant.
Cheating is almost none existent, but there are probably undetected private cheats that barely anybody uses since they would cost hundreds per month so you should be good in that department.
Solo experience very bad. Low ranks no info/many people without mics. Higher ranks people start to talk but mostly angry turkish people. Info is poor.
Overall game is pretty fun, a bit slower than CS tho. Sometimes can feel clunky but mastering your agent allow you to do some crazy outplays and I find that fun.
Yeah pretty poggers
Been barely playing CS in the past year
Very hard to play CS after six month of Valorant
Overall I like Valorant more than CS, but I feel like community here is more toxic than cs one and solo queue is really painful rn at low-mid elo (<diamond)
It's worth to try, but for me it was very boring, due to abilites you're attached to one specific role, the hitboxes are larger, maps are simpler and smaller than cs maps.
But overall, it was nice.
It's good to play 2-3 games with friends, after that its gettin boring
I don't know about other ranks but soloq around high plat / diamond is a toxic experience most games. It goes something like this, eastern european or turkish dude instalocks duelist, manages 8 frags in a 20 round game, complains about teammates non stop and shouts about how he'll be reporting everyone.
Playing with a group of friends is pretty fun though in small doses, but it isn't CS.
One thing for sure, Riot cares more for their game than Valve
Pretty boring, also strafing is too fucking slow. Ak 1/3 times doesn't reset accuracy between bursts. Running and gunning sometimes isn't punished for no apparent reason. Fun 2 tap bots coming from League of Legends/kids but the more you play the game starts feeling like a cheap ripoff.
when a randomly people doesnt listen me or doing some toxic things i insta throw the game so they cant even kick me or i wont get ban cuz of that i love ruin life like this brain deads.
It’s boring and doesn’t feel the same at all imo it just can’t recreate the excitement
