Mainly directed to olof, rain, interz, rush, sanji, xyp9x, boombl4, golden, jw, lnz, grim, but this is not limited to them - this is to ALL pros because ALL pros have experienced some form of unjust mass criticism at one point in their careers. If i make a single professional players day ever so slightly better my message has served its purpose.
Stats dont show the true picture. Kills dont show the true picture. Most people dont realize that; most people have never played in an amateur team let alone a tier1 cs team. They dont understand that without you the team would not be the same, and they dont understand what an amazing team player can bring to the team. I play in ESEA IM, it's no where remotely close to pro level but even here people like me and people around me put in so much work to improve and keep playing good - i can only imagine what is needed to be on the very top.
You put in the time and it pays off, being a supportive element to a winning team is just as good of a feeling as being the star on a winning team, if not better. I appreciate and have the upmost respect for every single pro in any scene, let alone the t1 CSGO scene which demands more from you than any other game and skill level.
People after a match loss spam threads like "-olof" or "-interz" after the stats dont line up with what is expected of them; these are also the same people who spam threads "GOD OLOF" or "GOD INTERZ" after a single good map; also the same two-faced people whom in casual conversation say "yea, jks is a great player, definately an upgrade over oBo" - they dont realize that pros are people, and how disrespectful it is to say that to, in this example; oBo. The point being, people casually and indirectly implying a player needs to be cut is the WORST THING a pro can hear, you should really appreciate how far they have come.
Another thing that disgusts me is people that label themselves a fan of team X, yet shit on the player who does the most for the team. Go on FaZe's twitter, if they lose a game you see faze 'fans' say stuff like "kick karrigan" or "omfg save broky and twistzz" -- you are NOT a fan of a team unless you support 100% the people on that team.
Don't let the plastic hypocrites, the loud minority of haters and fake fans, don't let them deter you from showing dedication and pride in your game. What you do for the team is beyond incredible. I respect it so much that you are able to with pride give the space to the star players and let them shine. It takes a lot of courage and it takes a rock solid mentality to do that.
