2004 when i got to know about mibr
I never watched cs, only played it. GO is a different story, though.
i think katowice 2015 maybe
Idk somewhere in 2018 I think, didn’t make an acount until somewhere after New York 2019
First match i ever watched was the final between NaVi and Vitality in IEM Beijing Haidan
I started playing CS around the same time as the PGL Krakow major was going on and I remember seeing some of those games.
I was a really casual player at first and didn't care about the pro scene, but I did watch a couple of games from time to time. I started watching more games when ENCE started playing better. That's what really hooked me into watching pro CS. :)
i guess in 2016 with a few csgo meme compilations
ELEAGUEEEEE BRING IT BACK TELEVISED CS??? YES PLEASE
2016, supported astralis and device since late 2016 during that overpass game vs optic in grand finals of eleague, when device got that 1v4
over the pandemic (March 2020), never had a PC so I never played CSGO
Since late 2012 when beta came out. And during this time, I regretted one thing that I started betting. Ruined so much money where I could spend it with benefit for myself
Watched games on and off but following religiously Since 2018 Kato
2013, first major in Jonkoping
cause of envyus
I remember wanting to be as good as kennys
Yo les noobs,
In late 2018 from memory, when the Vitality roster was assembled. Before that I thought CS:GO was just a case opening game since my favourite Youtuber used to do case openings back in 2016 :D
Oh time flies...
faceit major 2018
since watched all the others, know all the history
Katowice 2019 European Minor. Been a fan of Vitality since then.
2017 around the time of Krakow Major
I always knew such team as NaVi exists, and they are good, but at some moment everyone in VK started hyping like "omagad omagad Simpel in NaVi" I was like who the fuck is Simpel and decided to watch some games.
The first tournament I saw was FACEIT major and it was the grand final I watched
at first i watching local CZ/SK tournaments in 2006 clans like faB,fu.sk,defeaters,neophyte,esuba.. and then WCG 2007 and others
In 2016 I heard that you can get free stuff by watching the major so I started watching Cologne 2016.The rest just came
Dont remember exactly I think it was some Gfinity tournament in 2014.
EnVyUs vs fnatic ESL Cologne Final. I didn't even play cs back then lol
4-5 months after happy inferno ace.
I just watched inotorious yt vids before.
Katowice 2019, it was awesome event
2002-2003 most likely for watching.
2005 Giga TV. German tv Channel focused on games and ESports back then.
Summer of 2019. When liquid were good
Early days of csgo, getright being number 1, i wasn't interested in it back then and just casually watch it from time to time. I became addicted when olof dominated the scene
First game Ive seen was wcg 2009 final between fnatic and g5. Go since kato 2014
Since 2005 I’m an old fuck. CSGO since 2013
2015, when i got gifted the game
got gifted in late 2016. started watching it late 2017.
Started watching csgo in 2014, I went with a friend to a gfinity lan that hosted a cod, fifa, Starcraft and csgo tournament in the same building. It being the uk the cod arena was packed to the rafters with fans. The csgo section was almost empty, I’d say about half the crowd was the pros chilling and watching other teams in between games. Get_right, f0rest and Heaton (I think their coach at the time) were sat a couple rows down from me, at the front where the team dig boys, chrisj was also about.
I had played a bit of csgo but never properly watched it. I remember watching kennys 1v3 clutch to tie out a map against vp that was the moment I got hooked.
Right after Katowice 2014
2010 i think. my brother watched ESWC final sk vs navi i think. and the next day i try beat my brother so i can use his computer to play cs1.6
ESL one Katowice 2015
I remember as a kid after Kato I watched one inferno match every night before going to bed, preferably ones with NIP or Titan.
I watched many games from the cologne14-kato15 era on YouTube, to fill my knowledge gap.
Around 2017, I was watching CSGO montages but never played the game. Then after a year I started playing a little bit of CS but what I liked the most was watching Virre's montages. Then I started watching pro games with a passion. I have about 600h on CSGO but I bet I have a lot more on twitch/YT, watching tournaments and inventing strats, studying the game etc
2015 when csgo lounge betting was a thing. Can't replace those times...
Started watching last year, I guess it was Blast Premiere. And now I almost watch every tier 1 and tier 2 event. Unfortunately, I don't have anyone to discuss such tournaments with friends as this game isn't played much here in South Asia and childish games like Free Fire and Pubg mobile are more played as they're easy to play and available on mobile.
From the Starladder Berlin(Navi vs NRG)
