didn't play, just watched. haven't ever seen "realistic" combat like this while also being smooth, so that's first positive. has big potential if endgame becomes solid right now not much content, but with updates maybe good

Do you agree with #12?

Don't understand the hype around these type of games. It doesn't even look graphically appealing, it just guarantees you no life.

Will die quick after release.

you want to pay a trillion dollar company to betatest their game for them lmfao

Serious FFXIV vibes from the gameplay trailer, seems cool though. It's under Amazon Games which is kinda weird

yea they bought it, a lot of people are worried though because of the item shop and how they implement it in eu, cause the game is already playable in other regions and the item shop is p2w. game is insane though, full release is end of the year in eu i think

Played for 40 hours, the game has no content and you basically keep doing the same quests over and over again until you hit max level, the game is very repetitive and boring. That's just my opinion though, maybe some people actually enjoy it.

Yeah that's what I heard too, a lot of copy paste action. Is there any potential for it in the near future or it's kinda doa?

Having played multiple MMO's I honestly think they will need years to get anywhere with this game. There's no content and it's super repetitive, majority of the gameplay revolves on chopping down trees and gathering rocks, skill trees are just sad and pretty much all players will have the same skills, there will be no variety in your dungeon/pvp groups, the fights are boring because you spam 1 or 2 skills. The saddest part is the fact that despite having no content they already wanted to push microtransactions on things that will help you level up faster and stuff like fast travel, basically making the game sort of pay to win.

Damn that's sucks I was 30% hyped towards it. I only played FFXIV which imo is super refined by now, so safe to assume it won't reach that level? And I heard about the fast travel passes they intend to sell which sucks, but I think the deal breaker for me is the things you said about the skills. For me from a certain point in FFXIV the main interest (and challenge) was the rotations and mastering them. And that's in a game with like thousands of hours worth of content...

I was super hyped for new world too and now I'm just disappointed and sad honestly. I can say with full confidence that there is absolutely no chance for New World to go as far as FFXIV did, I think they will be some hype at the start and people will play it for a month or two and then the playerbase will start to decline very fast.

I would like to play it but I heard it can literally destroy your gpu which I'm not fancy to find out if its true.
