Yeah it's not a great situation in gaming all around for women. Promoting the female scene will attract a lot of negative attention, but it's necessary. Hopefully people become more inclusive around pc gaming. I imagine more women play cs than is perceived but people are unaware because the women don't want to speak out as women in fear of harassement. So hopefully once it becomes more normalised then the ball will start rolling and people will open up to the idea of female cs players and that they do exist, and that in fact there are a good number of them.
