East russians come here
 |
Germany N4ime
Are any russians of HLTV living in the east? And if you are, how is life there? What is different from the western side of russia?
2021-07-28 16:09
Topics are hidden when running Sport mode.
they leave cars running through the whole winter so the oil doesnt get frozen very environmentally friendly 👍

Not very Easty East but very far from Moscow, it's alright here, doesn't matter where you are as long as you free, you can be well off at any place. Or you can be miserable in heaven. It's all on you.

i guess big cities on the east are very similiar or even the same as on the west, only small villages are more poor and have worse location than the ones in the west, atleast that's what logic says for me

It's a matter of taste, for example, I don't like St. Petersburg at all, would rather choose Kazan or Yekaterinburg

Born and grew up in the Republic of Buryatia. It was ok in general. Not so much difference from any other average Russian region except Moscow (+oblast), Saint Petersburg, Kazan, Novosibirsk, Yekaterinburg and any other big city. There are several outliers in Siberia and Far East. For example, the Republic of Tuva (Siberia) is the most dangerous region in the whole Russia. Amur Oblast (Far East) is also dangerous. Another regional particularity of East Russia is, for instance, Yakutsk city (the capital of the Republic of Sakha, Far East) is located on the left bank of the Lena river and there is no bridge in the whole the Republic that crosses the Lena so you can reach the city by land transport only in winter. I think you got the point :D

For instance, Kyzyl is the capital of the republic has the highest murder rate in Russia. The rest cities are not even close. If you know russian we have great independent resource because governmental statistics is unreliable: tochno.st/problems/crime/districts/sibir..

I live in Yakutsk, I don't think bigger cities differ too much. My grandparents live in the countryside and it's beautiful, like nature around them is completely untouched I love being there but it's harsh, you have to have good survival skills and be able to bear cold weather

No no, obviously Mongolian is different; I'm talking about Russian in Vladivostok, because from my Russian professors, they say that Rssian isn't much different anyway, like even accent-wise, just maybe differences in slang/certain words and stuff like that.

# 58 Differences that come to my mind - In Saint Petersburg they say "Porebrik" instead of "Bordur"(Sidewald border) - Ukrainians sometimes pronounce "Chto" as "Sho" (What), also they sometimes pronounse sound "G" as "GH", but not all Ukrainians - Belarusians speak better Russki than Russians =) - Kazakhs and Caucasians have slight accents and some local meme words
2021-07-28 20:04

I live in the middle of Russia, but its east from Urals so im from east, I guess. The main different is that nothing to do here. No big sport events, no big concerts, if any famous singer visit our shithole once a 3 years, the whole city is hyped But the good thing is we are one of the richest regions in Russia, since majority of Russia's oil comes from our region.

It's depending on the city and artist. If artist doesn't respect his listeners, he will just do big shows in Moscow and Saint P. Those big shows bring them the same amount of money as they would have received for 1 tour through Russia. And if you are living in the city with 100k people in it, big names won't come here cuz probably there is no good stadium or club or even city is just poor 💁‍♂️
