Topics are hidden when running Sport mode.
Watch maradona play in the mud for example messi and cr7 could never do that, Pele is a fraud tho

tru but maradona is not better than messi though, maybe ronaldo in terms of ability but it's hard to say.

becaused the doping (particularly by the Eastern Bloc) was out of control. We don´t know the current landscape, but it can´t be worse than it was back than ... one of the main reasons these records still stand.

Florence Griffith Joyner has two records that will never be broken because she was doped out of her mind

easy +1 there but you gotta see they have hugely improved training methods nutritionists and everything if there was a leveld playing field then we could actually compare them but some athletes are so good they are ahead of their time then we get to the goat conversation

+1 in like 50 years it will be completely different aswell as we advance in knowing more about human bodies and how they function, makes sense :)

+1 they had a certain level of knowledge about strength and athleticism, but we built upon that level of knowledge making it higher so we obviously have stronger athletes, and our children will be stronger than us.

U have to take into account that rules have changed, technology has changed and other stuff has changed. Have u seen cleats and shoes from 50 years ago and have u seen golf clubs from 40 years ago. Also, the way that people train has changed and evolved due to science. U can’t really compare em like that so

Technology develops, regulations develop, hell, even our own bodies develop with evolution. Back then gymnastics used to be "do a backflip and you just got yourself a gold medal". Now triple backflip with perfect landing is just "meh".

and? do you know what world class olympic sprinters have for training? the analyze your entire sprint with a computer and full body scans and tell you exactly where you lose time, in which segment you have to improve and how to. you also have way better shoes, you have way better developement programs in school etc. all of this accounts to better athletes.
2021-07-31 02:24
Better and improved techniques, daily trainings since young age, better facilities and equipment. Would be hard to believe it happening the other way around.

wrong. deluded zoomer. Wilt once said, “Just remember Michael, when you played, they changed the rules to make it easier for you to dominate. When I played, they changed the rules to make it harder for me." Wilt will destroy modern NBA players 100%

2021-07-29 14:44
You're joking right? Federer and Nadal starting beating the world number ones in their teens, Djokvic in his early 20's and today the guys in their prime still struggle to beat them, its the same in football and other sports. I think it's because of technology and all the shit in the foods these days.
2021-07-31 02:01
no technology, only skill > technology + skill
