depends on ur monitor, i have 165 Hz and 80 fps in Minecraft with mods and shaders, so feels not smooth enough for me. not even talking about 30 fps

normal if you are console animal

560 can get about 90-ish FPS on Maxed out settings on Native as long as your CPU isn't a massive bottleneck. It's very underrated.

MY RX570 does get 90-120 fps on most games & 300fps in Csgo

2021-07-31 14:58

below 60 fps isn't "lag". Lag is when you get framedrops and if you have a stable fps count at 30 it's not lag. It's just less frames per second right.

svp-team.com/ That makes movies be "60fps". It's really smooth (some little artifacts sometimes) and makes car/action scenes so much clearer... I understand some people doesn't like that style. I haven't used it much lately cos Netflix...

It has a lot to config if needed. If you have older card, you can have low settings etc. It ran on pretty hard settings on my i7 2600k & GTX 970. Haven't tested it yet with my i5 9600k & 970.

Games that are slower or single player ye its ok but not exactly the greatest, in most multiplayer games that are especially pvp you'll be struggling to keep up with 30 fps against those with 200+ on 144hz monitors for example

2021-07-31 16:11
I played games like Mafia 2 or AC2 on like 20-30 fps 10+ years ago on my old PC and I guess it wasnt that bad Playing online games is impossible, but single games are fine on stable 30 fps
2021-07-31 16:13
60fps ok in some games like singleplayer rpg or whatever but if its competetive 144hz with 144+ fps is a must

If you are used to playing more than 30 fps you will struggle to enjoy. I used to play css for a long time, then bought a PS3 (and PS4) and almost got eye cancer from max 30 fps. I really wanted to play the witcher 3 on PS4 but it was just unplayable for me personally bc i was so used to more fluent gameplay.
2021-07-31 16:39
open world third person games = playable with 30fps competitive and online games like cs go = at least 120fps, anything between 60 and 120 is kinda unpleasant, a lot of stuttering, feels like 30fps but you can consider it "playable"
2021-07-31 18:13
Only single-player games on console
2021-07-31 19:18
for an FPS game no. For 3rd person game where you dont need precision aim then it can be

2021-07-31 23:45
Depends on game. It's definitely playable in platformers and just single players overall, but surely not in competitive games like CS:GO I remember playing CS:GO at 20fps when I had no good pc. It was a nightmare that left me with pure frustration BTW, I would say 30 fps is awful no matter what if you play with keyboard and more tolerable with a controller since it feels somewhat smoother, can't really explain why

30 fps is playable on CS depending on your playstyle

2021-08-01 03:26
maybe with a controller
2021-08-01 03:29
All these people saying no must be like 13 and never known anything different. Even at 20 fps I would say it's playable, as long as it is stable. That's the more important factor. As long as it isn't jumping around all the time.

2021-08-01 07:45
No. If you're used to 60+ fps and have to drop down to 30, it'll just make you nauseous. In competitive games, the added input lag and lessened ability to track movement will put you at a gigantic disadvantage. 30 fps used to be the standard because of hardware limitations. It is not the standard now, for good reason.
2021-08-01 07:15
used to play with 45fps back in 2013-2015 and it was playable, now i cant fucking stand less than 60

yes if you get used to it
2021-08-01 07:29
i can handle it on controller. on kbm tho, fuck no. the input delay is so noticeable on anything under like 90fps for me. in cs i need at least like 250 without me feeling like im at a disadvantage. I copped a ryzen 5 5600x and rx 6700 xt so im chilling at fps_max 450 now and love it xD
2021-08-01 07:49
no, because many cheap internet cafe around $0.2 / hour can provide 200+ fps in csgo (with additional hack if needed)

For any BR or Tac-shooter, 60 is the bare minimum imo. If it's a story driven (ideally not action) game, then playing with 30fps on very high Graphic settings makes sense. If it's 30fps but the graphics are also not the best, then I'm not into the experience.
2021-08-01 08:28
30 fps is absolutely unplayable. 60 fps is okay at best but still feels choppy. 90+ fps in AAA title is awesome

you've never play an AAA title. 60 fps vsnyc feels much better.

I played every single assassin creed, witcher 3, rdr2, watch dogs series, far cry series and so on. You clearly never played on 1440p ultra with 90+ fps

2021-08-01 09:47
No.
2021-08-01 09:48
depends on the game. competitive games? nah casual games? kind of, lmao, like I used to play a lot of The Crew 2 and I always played with max 30 fps (was laggy with max 60)

May be only in slow or casual games, defiinetely not in dark souls or cs go, for example.
2021-08-01 10:40
playable yes but not enjoyable!
2021-08-01 10:41
Depends on the game, games like rdr2 is playable on 30
2021-08-01 11:44
most of the games on ps4 are 30 fps, so it's playable, but you can see it's not so smooth

played HZD and FF7R and RDR2 on PS4 with 30 fps it's fine
2021-08-01 12:13
Ofc it's playable, it might be unusual at first coming off of playing sth at 60fps+ but after a couple minutes you don't even notice that it's 30fps.
2021-08-01 12:19
Shooting (both, 1st and 3rd person), sports and driving games needs to be played at least at 60fps. Everything else should be fine.
2021-08-01 12:27
cs nowadays I don't think so

2021-08-01 13:03

2021-08-01 19:18

2021-08-01 19:21
gaming yeah, csgo nope
2021-08-01 23:54
not on pc
2021-08-01 23:54
Depends on the game, if it's like a single player RTS then yeah
2021-08-01 23:55

Depends, I played hit man on 25 and it was good
2021-08-02 00:07
kind of, but anything below 45fps is unacceptable for me
2021-08-02 00:29
depends on the game obviously, but still more fps = better
2021-08-02 00:28
Gothic 1/2 engine fixed on 27fps Best games I ever played

you need 55-70 , better 70 at stability, on laptop csgo with 70fps is still something ok, against gold nova nooblets
2021-08-02 12:24
shooters no casual games yes
2021-08-02 12:28
Generally above 60 fps is enough for slow pace games, under 50 fps is a bit ugly for me

100% playable. I recently got L.A. Noire on my 6800xt PC with a 144hz monitor and the game is capped at 30fps for physics/motion capture reasons and I enjoy it and think it is entirely playable. Anybody who says it isn't playable are just spoilt... sure I wish it was smoother in terms of viewing experience but gameplay wise it's perfectly okay...
2021-08-02 15:19
isnt old cartoons drawn at 24 fps, it's enough mens

no the biggest problem is that 30fps is not the low but the average from the last seconds. you will go very low sometimes. you need at least 100fps.
