Isn't the process of making Skyr slightly different? Skyr to me tastes like a combination of cottage cheese + yogurt.

Real yogurt is meant to be salty, not sweet. Taste, looks, and consistency are like ayran. Basically salty, denser milk. Taste is similar that of greek yogurt

Greek yogurt is the best... it's not Greek and I don't know why they call it "Greek yogurt"... In Greece nobody calls it "Greek yogurt"... we always say "strained yogurt"

EU commercial rules bro, u guys promote each others’ products and label them as your own. Another example would be Cypriot Halloumi even if it belongs to the whole island and not just South Cyprus…

i'm really confused with these "origins" bro... Did you know Greek coffee and Turkish coffee is exactly the same thing??? we just don't serve it with Turkish lokum here... Some people even say "baklava" is Greek when it's clearly Turkish... I don't care where it belongs if it tastes good I would recommend it to everyone arround the world xD

Hahshshha for real, the Greeks be like: Those things do not belong us. Rest of the EU: Those things are clearly Greek… Coffee is not that relevant in Turkish culture tho, çay is the real deal. I do not think our coffee culture is actually “ours” neither…

haha I know man, a friend of mine has been in Istanbul and told me that... Idk man I can't live without my coffee (older people usually drink Greek-Turkish coffee whereas everyone else drinks cold coffees like Greek freddo or Greek frappe)
