<3 lotr is superior to hp but still... give it a try and watch it whole. I used to read the books as a kid before the movies even came out ( both lotr and hp) so i still feel the nostalgia when watching it nowadays and i just like it :D

It is worth watching if you like that magic universe, it is also fun to see them growing up. You want them to succeed and at the end, you feel attached to them. Sure some things are more childish but the movies grew with the audiences, they become more mature and darker with by the end of it, deals with heavy subject like deaths of lovable characters.

Really good if you are into wholesome adventure with a twist of darkness. From the 4th movie till the last, the movies matured a lot.

Yeah my favorite series (because of nostalagia - I also read all the books multiple times when I was a kid/teen) First 2 has differenent director and different dumbledor actor so they have different 'style'. But every movie is pretty good, last movie is split into two parts. I like first movies most tho, because they are mostly happening in Hogwarts
2021-08-03 10:33
its worth it, but not that much, a good series but i think you had to watched it while kid to be a crazy fan like lots of people.

I think it's the most flawless. It has good pacing, no cringe scenes, decent acting(imo acting got worse in movie 4 again) and the darker atmosphere was very fitting. In all other movies there are some things to complain about.

In the 5th game, Accio was a spell to pull things towards you. Depulso was the opposing spell, to push things away from you.

Game? I never played the 5th one because I couldn't finish the 4th one ( C.D broke, was heartbreaking). I never remember Depluso. Was it there in the books?

Yeah, Depulso was a banishing charm, opposite to Accio, the summoning charm. The games are honestly not amazing but are great fun to play. :) If you do decide to play the Harry Potter games, just remember not to play 7 part 1 and 2... they are not very good. The LEGO Harry Potter game is by far the best Harry Potter game, in my opinion.

In terms of exploration of the castle, the 5th game and the LEGO game were the best two for that. :D

it's totally worth it. Interesting thing with HP saga is that it growed up with its audience. They started as a child-friendly movie, but became darker and darker after first 2 movies (both visually and in terms of story)

IT'S SO WORTH IT, i watched all of them 10x and read all the books in 3 different languages... so fucking good
2021-08-03 19:13
Once i saw a guy in yt criticizing the 5 to 8 movies, and saying that there's a lot of things that doesn't make sense. So i decided to read the entire saga (its free on pdf), i stopped after the half of the 6th book because i was dying of boredom, but i got some conclusions after that: Harry Potter is a kids novel, the history is funny if you don't think much about it and you turn off your brain, but once you try to dig a little bit into the plot you will inmediatly stumble upon massive plot holes, the plot holes are so big in fact that a Russian guy wrote an entire Fan fiction called "Harry Potter and the Methods of Rationality" (its a bit quirky, but its entertaining as hell). The movies are funny for a quick view, it's worth it.
2021-08-03 19:21
Yeah. I re-watched all the movies last year and enjoyed them more this time round than I did 10-15 years ago. I had read all the books way back as a kid before I ever saw the films, and I'd probably recommend reading the books before watching the films if you can, but you don't have to.
2021-08-03 20:38
actually good, the movie scenes are very iconic, when ppl talk about harry potter, those scenes can come up in the mind sharply
