That's what the haters have always been saying. And let's be honest, they are not completely wrong, playing in ucl for less than 10 games against prem teams and playing 38 matches the EPL against English teams are two different things.
yeah playing only versus top5 best epl teams and completly destroying and humiliating them doesnt prove anything! he has to play vs norwich or watford then i can accept the fact that he is kinda good, otherwise i dont believe
You clearly don't know anything about football. Premier League has a quick pace, from the fixtures to the actual playing style and is extremely competitive. It's also very physically demanding and requires extremely good endurance. Every player that switched from other leagues has to adapt to the PL environment and even some excellent players failed to adapt. I have faith that Messi will successfully adapt tho.
the only clearly thing here is the fact that you know only premier league, you know why? because you are ugly yellow teeth brit who's only watching his home country league and only their mathes in champions league, your clue about world football is close to 0
>Every player that switched from other leagues has to adapt to the PL environment and even some excellent players failed to adapt.
This is such bullshit. What about the players who have successfully adapted?
EPL is physical whereas La Liga, Bundesliga, Ligue 1 (idc about Serie A) are way more technical than EPL and therefore players from outside the UK are way more skilled compared to English players. Just look at the numbers of players from other nations playing in EPL. English players don't even dominate in their own league.
Edit: Just because the league is very competitive, does not mean it's a better league. EPL just offers a better product and entertainment value than any other league. Messi would have zero problems dominating the PL. Just look at Hazard and how skilled he was and how often he used get fouled by the opposition players.
be a player in the most rich club by far in EPL isnt a prove and messi doesnt need to prove anything. man city won 3 out 4 last championships, 3 out 5 since guardiola came. messi staying in barca and winning la liga would be WAY harder than epl with man city
If Messi goes to Manchester city i would hope Ronaldo goes to Manchester united, what a good way to end their careers in 2 rival teams on the best league of the world, and having a ''el classico'' again
Man, 2019-2020 Barcelona was not a team fullfilled with talented players. One or other can be, but in general was a terrible squad in paper and tactically. Man City is a way better team and you think that Messi could be exposed as a fraud hahahaahaha what a joke. If you think that you know nothing abot football
Won't engage in subjective perceptions as worthless as considering how strong a squad is "on paper" when individual nominations, awards, titles and stats are all out there. You're discussing this as if we don't know what happened already.
Stay comfortable with your assumptions. I can't see the future, I'll keep thinking that based on my (and other people's) solid reasons. This is such an irrelevant, oversimplified discussion to me. I've already talked about this plenty of times
Never mentioned Man. C once btw
Have a good one. We'll agree to disagree
#52 nice assumption and such an irrelevant "fact". Couldn't expect less. You seem kinda mad. Did I mention one of those reasons or am I just considering you a big waste of time for you to understand anything? #44
Not in my league. Quite please. Have a good one
I'm not mad, im laughing. You just seens that dont know too much about football if you believe in what you said in #27. And didn't showed any "solid reasons", seens that you are just a hater with subjective opinions
And you really expect me to seriously argue with an ignorant random on hltv when I can barely understand what you're saying. Ok
Discussed this plenty of times with people that knows about football at least. You're not giving me anything new. Waste of time
You were ignorant since #44 dw.
It's not one word, it's your entire writing and what you're saying. I feel like I'm replying to a 5 year old. Nothing new *yawns*
You talking about "arguments" is ironic. Hypocrite
Thing there's no need for me to argue with YOU. I consider it a waste of time. Didn't I say it already? If you can't understand this basic sentence how do I expect you to understand more complex matters?
Ok, you dont know nothing about football, of course, your country dont have any traditions in football, the only relevants players was Hagi and Chivu, and barely Mutu, why i thought you would know something?
Ok, you dont know nothing about football, of course, your country is the 7-1 one and stopped being relevant for many after that controversial 2002 world cup although I still respect out.
Instead of coping by assuming one's knowledge solely based on his country flag, I'd rather used that as yet another reason to consider you a big waste of time. Have a good one
If you read my comments you should've understood my position by now. Knowing it's not the case I'll keep saying I don't expect you none of you to understand.
Everything is already there.
>shittalking brazillian guy's english
See? Waste of time. Sorry for telling I don't understand what he's saying and his reading comprehension is awful
Not to mention some of my comments won't even appear.
Not my duty to educate some randoms
100% facts my bro. he will prove nothing by playing in France.
Even though I don't like them, Man City would be the best club for him. It would be fucking legendary to see Messi play away to Leeds, on a fucking tuesday
