I haven't watched alotnof them but they felt like they had a really good run for a while, good morale, momentum etc, not saying it's a fluke but I think they need better talent, at this level it really is hard to stay at the top
They can shoot heads very well but the teamplay/reactions/adaptations must be lacking. No wonder they are so good on D2.
that's the thing i also dont understand
they have great roster, great stuff but they always poop in pants on important events
maybe because of lack of experience
cause other teams do it all better
I was asking myself the same question many times. It's not a problem relating to players. The thing is, they have all components to become a stable T1 team, that's my personal opinion, even though my flair checks out. Magixx is so underrated at this point. He usually puts up a decent numbers while playing not the most favourable roles/positions on certain maps. He can't release his full potential due to role clash. In my opinion, he needs to be given more freedom to work with. He likes playing aggressively, so if you put him passively, he'll not perform that well most of the time. It's tough for him to open the round with an insane entry-frag just because of the fact that mir loves getting openings, degster also is a great example of doing such a thing despite being an awper.
Coming back to the main topic of this thread, they have issues with closing games out and issues in terms of overall preparation. They're playing simple cs and always when the particular game is being played longer than expected they seem to run out of strats. They just need to exceed their stratbook and stop choking in the most important moments. They lost so many opportunities this year and even nafany said if they used all chances, they would have been even in Gambit's shoes (A little bit of exaggeration - however, I need to admit that they would have been in a different place if they used at least half of lost prospects)...
Role clash between mir and magixx...
both insane , but both want to go for entries... also magixx shit anchor , he needs to be more on the middle of the map , always trying to make plays...
but then if you change him , you have to put mir anchoring , which he is not good also...
so its fucked up..
also degster very inexperienced , he does alot of bad moves , overpeeking etc, no very smart rotations sometimes....
basicly to much skill , but bad synergy and role clash
I would love magixx to go to VP instead of yekindar.
same with forze, that roster should be in top 10 easily
electronic past 3 months has been better than mir easily
They just have hard tournament runs and never actually go against easy teams
Magisk sucky, degster literally doesnt have a brain, chopper washed unfortunately he was a beast.
Guys make so many mistakes as a team. They chocked about 8 rounds in single map against Vitality and still made it close. I think if not that many mistakes, they would be decent top 10 team, they should consider changing coach. Kane is free btw
They choke, alot. They struggle to close maps and have a habit of giving away advantages. But the names on the team and their talents are Top 5 worthy for sure, better than VP on paper at least.
Only frags, lack map pool and the mid round calls were mediocre. Teams watched their demos. Now they changed 2nd coach and before softik arrived they were top 5
degster is a skilled awper but he is so dumb like s1mple in 2015-16
chopper so inconsistent: a god and following map a bot
sdy and mir: nothing about
magixx: much inconsistent but very skilled, sometimes he can destroy a match
mir the best rifler and in the mf world
imo degster can be good but really dumb
chopper inconsistent af
+ they have really good players like mir and magixx but their team play isn't the greatest
Guys, magixx is just 18 years old according to HLTV. And degster 20. Let them get experience.
