-change maps every 6 months after EVERY major not every 2 majors (or change 3 maps every year) -create new maps, don't bring back old maps like always (with inf, d2 in 2017/2018) -if you bring back old maps, make BIG updates, not just a rework like on inf & d2 but a real v2 like dust & d2 thoughts ?

Depends where your priorities are probably. Your suggestion would be more aimed towards casual players, I don't think the hardcore audience would enjoy that

+1 but I'd say changing a map once in two years ( for exemple train and Ancient ) is fine

I was talking about pro scene

I would personally love a bit of change in the map-pool but if you make great changes you make the game way more chaotic and pros will not be able to practice as well anymore.

I tried to find old comments of mine but I didn't find them but I have made suggestions like yours in the past. I think that Valve should have implemented map-rotation from the start of csgo, to keep things fresh (now it's basically too late). I think that Valve should have had a big map-pool of like 10-15 maps where 7 of them are in the official map-pool and are being played and the rest are in stand-by. Every year, 1 and maybe even 2 maps would go out and be replaced by maps that have been in stand-by. I think it would be a much easier/smoother change if you switch maps at the end of the year instead of right in the middle. I also think it gives a bit of personality to every season, in the future you could say stuff like ''oh remember 2022, that was the Tuscan year'' or something like that.

6 months are not enough for making a map good. Ancient is in the game for some months now and it hasn't been updated yet outside of some small things, A site needs some work for sure and in general the map is too ct-sided rn. Changing maps every 2 majors is enough imo

You wouldn't have to change the map that was last added necessarily, it can be any other map so the latest one still has time to fit in?

Yeah, true, I just don't know if Valve are ready to make big updates so often. Imo ancient now is not looking like a map which deserves to be in the Major, and let's say they will add another map right after the Major... Too fast for valve, they need to do skins and operation too yknow :D

If only they added more people to the CSGO developers team...

Wholeheartedly agree

Would be great. Sadly, valve won't do anything like that.

id like a more rotating map pool, but we dont need to remove the old maps :)
