I have never heard anyone say that cs is a slow game
i reload with aug and then i have to wait for 30 seconds before i can shoot even tho the animation is over. cool game.
first time I hear this ))
valorant is way slower paced imo atleast
but ofc cs is ''slow'' compared to games like quake, unreal tournament etc
never heard this argument.
Cs isn't slow but the utility makes it slow
CS can be slow or fast... I think there is a lot of dimensions to the game, that is why it is good. It requires skill and strats, but also there is the element of luck. Every match has a different story; sometimes breathtaking, sometimes boring, sometimes unlucky, sometimes too lucky... :)
CSGO is slow af, play 1.6 for movement and superior gun-play.
it is slow paced and low skilled aiming. this is nothing new.
the meta in top tier teams makes the game slower. If you're all about just speed and have ADHD where u can't play a slower game then sure go play sth else.
Kids with 5 second attention span cannot concentrate
round timer is a little too long but only certain teams are slow playing
my friend used to play csgo
got semi pro in fortnite
cant play slow paced cs anymore
Because it is a SLOW game. You just camp and hold angles most of the time. Unlike battle royals , where people have to run around constantly and have longer ttk. Just because CSGO is low ttk , doesn't mean it's fast paced game. It's a team game and heavily relies on tactics , utility and whatnot. While battle royal is , well , fast paced , everything happens fast and without a tought , in short : casual game. You just run around like brainless monkey and pew pew , need 3 magazines to kill someone.
CS is indeed a slow game. It just feels really fast paced because of the smooth mechanics and russians rushing b KEKW
Compared to siege, the other esport I watch, it is very fast, 1 siege round is about 3 csgo rounds
Well, CS is a slow game compared to battle royals. Comparing to Valorant, I think Valo is faster actually, but it feels slower cause of movement speed and gun mechanics.

wtf are u talking about?
pro players make it look slow but not a problem
change res then so looks fasy
slower compared to arena shooters
The more intellect involved in the strategy of an FPS game the "slower" it will likely be. This isn't a guaranteed rule but you can look at regular sports as another example Golf and Chess clearly take more intellect than basketball or american football. Does a game like Quake 3 (as someone mentioned above) take more skill since its faster? Of course. But faster doesn't always mean more skill either (pro COD is faster but has a very low skill ceiling in comparison). And pro CSGO clearly takes more intellect than either.
